    Works Perfectly For Blackberry Bold 9700 Replacement Screen

    My screen stopped working 2 weeks after my warranty was up. I thought I might as well try fixing it myself. I did some searches and found this article...[...]and searching on you tube for Blackberry Bold 9700 screen issues.My screen all of a sudden had nothing but colors and lines going across it vertically. According to my research pretty much any display problems can be fixed by replacing the screen and replacing the back chassis that houses the media card slot attachment. So to be safe I ordered the back chassis for $10 and purchased this screen here for $60. $75 later including the T5 screw driver repair tool kit which included the tool to separate the plastic parts, my phone is like brand new again. I originally ordered my screen on Ebay and they sent me a broken one which was quite discouraging since they tried to convince me it was my phone but I had faith and purchased this screen here and everything was perfect.     Cheap copy, NOT OEM!

    The screen received is a cheap copy, not an original. The screen I wanted to replace is exactly the same as the one in the picture, but the one I received is not the same it's even smaller. It doesn't come with the double adhesive, the letters on the back are not the same even though it says 23269-002/111 and the tracks on the connector is not the same as the original, it's totally different. I wasn't sure if I was going to end up with something that wasn't cut to accommodate the beveled edges of the screen but no worries. It fits perfectly.     Good protector with the right installation

    I have ordered a couple of different screen protectors both the privacy and normal types. These particular screen protectors are thin but strong since they have more "beaf" than some of the other protectors that are just a piece of plastic that cover it. It is still plenty flexible to bend and fit to your screen but also not so thin that they don't feel that protective at all. I want to also say that I have the Blackberry Tour 9630 which is ever so slightly different from the Bold 9700 in that it's screen is slightly wider and not as tall. I had to trim the screen protector just a bit but did so with a pair of scissors and it did the trick. They apply easily with the provided squeege and stick very well to the screen. It sticks by cling not with the use of any glues so replacing it is very easy and not messy at all. This product is very good quality and very reasonably priced.     Displays similar to original NES... GARBAGE

    Let me get the good out of the way, shipping was fast, packed nicely, easy install (I have done these before so make sure u know what youre doing), and solid.Ok, all that is wonderful if the product was something like... A bumper for a car, a new couch, etc. But this is an "LCD" screen for a pretty nice phone, the main focal point, without this part the phone would be pretty useless, right?My Bold 9700 had an amazing display that rivaled any smartphone of it's time. It was awesome! Why wouldn't I expect something even REMOTELY close as a replacement? Silly me, this display is not worth the adhesive (that it does NOT even come with) that holds it on!     Absolutely Perfect

    I bought this from the marketplace seller "TechTreasure", fulfilled by Amazon and the device was perfect. It shipped lightning fast (as expected for Prime shipments), and while the packaging wasn't terribly robust (bubble wrap envelope, inside a padded envelope, inside a larger padded envelope) it arrived in one piece just fine.I (like probably you) have broken a couple screens on the 9700. Unfortunately the LCD screen is attached to the plexi/plastic cover, unlike in other phones where the screen cover is part of the case. A little too much pressure on that cover (like when your 9700 is in your pocket and you are crawling around under a race car in my case), and your screen can become nicely toasted.You must open your 9700 to identify which version of the LCD screen you have. I've seen 001/111, 002/111, and 004/111. Once you determine which version you have, order the correct one (this review is for the 002).     I ordered this "Original Genuine" Blackberry Bold 9700 display screen last week, when the display screen arrived I tried it on my Blackberry Bold 9700 and it did not work. I tried it on a Bold 9000 and it worked!!! This is false advertisment, the heading says that its for a Bold 9700 and its not !!!     Bad quality knock-off LCD

    After purchasing this screen and installing it, I found that the quality was much worse than the original. I expected an original OEM BlackBerry LCD, but seem to have been shipped some kind of cheap knock-off.     This was not what I expected. It did not fit my Blackberry Bold at all. I had to cut it down to make it fit. However, after I cut it down, it worked just fine. I kept it on my phone for almost 6 months until I bought another one. It only had a few scratches on it but I just wanted a new one.     I found this to be great! It helped me out so much! Everywhere I went, they wanted to charge $130.00. It was really easy change. Oh and for the people who are guessing what version to get....all you have to do is take your phone apart and look on the back of the lcd screen. Luckily I just guessed the right one.
