    Great for what it is

First off, I'll apologize for writing a review after owning this tablet for only one night. I hate these kinds of reviews but I felt this needed at least one review from a real customer. In my few hours with it last night, I downloaded and installed several apps on it from GetJar, including Facebook and Kindle. I also downloaded several apps from my PC onto a thumb drive and installed them onto the tablet from that, which was very cool. I visited several websites that had flash banners and they worked flawlessly. I was also able to play embedded videos on sites including youtube.com and my facebook news stream.Pros:- USB port - I plugged an 8GB flash drive in and installed apps from it.- Micro SD slot - Haven't used it yet but plan to soon- HDMI port - Haven't used this yet either but it's a great option- Video looks great- Very responsive when touching links or rotating display- Browser is quick and displays flash-... 4/5 Jason Morse (MA, USA) - See all my reviews, December 15, 2010

    Great Tab for the price!

Have had this device for 3 days now and I am more than impressed. This thing is blazing fast and very responsive. Sure there are issues but developer is releasing patch to address these by 12-24-12 according to their web site. Hopefully this fix will address the problems with wi-fi waking ,Nvidia drivers (not able to play angry birds.. etc). True the multi-touch and lack of market are a bummer, but what do you want for 300 bucks? So glad I did not spend double this price on a Galaxy tab that will be outdated in 6 months.pros-Fast, fast, fast-Screen res is great for the specs-Very responsive-HDMI out is awesome-USB and SD card media (Bite me Apple)-rooted out of the box-300 bucks!- Jetflicks streaming on 7 inch screen!-Flash player rocks (Bite me Apple)-Great readerCons-No Market (hopefully XDA developers will help with this)-Wi-fi fails to wake from sleep (workaround available and patch... 4/5 Craig118 - See all my reviews This review is from: eLocity A7 Touchscreen 7-Inch Android 2.2 Tablet (Black) (Personal Computers) Have had this device for 3 days now and I am more than impressed. Great device - blows iPad away on speed

Just got the a7 today and think it is a great device. Even with the original firmware - the device is blazing fast, more below, no WiFi issues and the pinch and zoom is adequate. Firmware Update - Version 2.0121 of 12/24 further improves pinch and zoom - which we will apply tomorrow - and update our review once done. XDA have an Android Market ROM so the a7 can gain access to Market.Build quality is very sturdy - some have commented on its being plasticky - but it's a rubberized, non-slip plastic. Perfectly respectable. We are certain that XDA will do Honeycomb in due course.First off - we should say we are an Apple shop - iMacs, MacBook Airs, Minis and iPads - so when we say the a7 blows the iPad away on speed - we are not coming from an anti-Apple perspective. Quite the opposite. Example - loading cnn.com on the a7 fully rendered in about a half a second - the iPad 6 seconds.1080p playback is super fast and very smooth... 5/5 Matthew Therrien (Ozawkie, Kansas, US) - See all my reviews, January 14, 2011

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

I bought 3, i thought that they could be good, BIG MISTAKE. Follow the problems found in the 1st day:1. Touch screen is a HELL, they are like the touch screens used 3 years ago. Even with the pen!!2. Camara: i have never seen something worse than this. it does not arrive even to 0.5Megapixel3. 1 of the tablet i just turned on for 5 min, then it will never worked again (after check out in some forums, this is very frequent)4. 1 of the keyboard does not bring the leds, like the othher 2.5. Suggestion: just google epad 7 inches MID, you will see all the comment, and forum.Really, do not waste your money. I'm trying to contact the seller, to see what can i do! You get what you pay for....

This tablet does the job for the most basic use. I bought it for my daughter so she can learn her A,B,Cs. The battery dies quickly and is a bit sluggish. Again, you get what you pay for. It comes with a keyboard which is useful but keys are falling off already. I have had this for about a month. I recommend it if you have $100 to spare. 3/5 Larry - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Pure Junk

We purchased 3 of these as Christmas Gifts. They were purchased under a seller by the name of advansiagdt. First of all the product came way early....this is normally a good thing except they sat for three weeks and one was broken from shipping (There were several small cracks that were unnoticed on visual inspection. These cracks took some serious investigating to find since the tablets were so scratched up). Still its hard to complain that they came early. Shipping was good. The tablets themselves were just terrible. The touch screens are the worse I've seen with more or less zero touch response. They have a very hard time connecting to the internet. The app store just plain will not work on any of the tablets. The camera is junk. My 6 years year old could draw a picture that looks better and more realistic than the pictures taken with the camera. The usb and ethernet dongle sorta works but does not stay in the port unless you hold it in there. And the processor is as... 1/5 Justin Galvez (Newbury Park, CA, US) - See all my reviews This review is from: 7" tablet computer Android 2.2 epad two point WiFi 3G camera 512MB 2GB - plus (Personal Computers) We purchased 3 of these as Christmas Gifts. The Xoom is a lot like chess, let me explain...

When I first got the Xoom about a week ago I turned it on and I really wasn't blown away. I use lots of devices, and my first impression of the Xoom just wasn't stellar. However, I could see the potential, and so I kept using it, I got some apps, I started to learn the interface and the depth of the features.Sometime during day 2 of using the Xoom it really hit me. The Xoom and the iPad are like chess and checkers. When you first start playing chess (or trying to use the Xoom, in my amazing analogy) you feel overwhelmed and confused. You can't really do things smoothly, you don't understand the options, it just is not a great first impression. On the other hand, your first game of checkers (or using the iPad) is probably going to be pretty smooth. It isn't complex, most all the options and concepts are obvious and easy to understand and your first game is going to be pretty similar to your hundredth. However, as you start to understand the Xoom (or chess) it... 4/5 Jordan G. I prefer Xoom over iPad 2 and here's why....

First of all I want to say that I own both Apple and Google/Android devices. I own iPod Touch and have played with iPad of family member who own the device. I also played with iPad 2 quite a bit at the store as well as from a friend who got it on launch day. I currently own original Motorola Droid and looking to upgrade to newer Android phone this summer. It is difficult not to compare Xoom to its competitor aka iPad 2. Therefore, this review will entail Xoom features (Wifi version) along with comparison to iPad 2.Operating System - An iPad is more akin to a smartphone where as a Xoom is more akin to a laptop (Best Buy actually has it in laptop section instead with other Android tablets like Samsung Galaxy). Honeycomb feels more like a tablet. It's not just a row of apps and wasted space like iOS. Plus, you have room for customization (widget, live wallpaper, theme etc). There is also little detail that tech savvy will appreciate (outline grid, advanced settings, google... 5/5 Lenny D (Akron, OH) - See all my reviews This review is from: MOTOROLA XOOM Android Tablet (10.1-Inch, 32GB, Wi-Fi) (Personal Computers) First of all I want to say that I own both Apple and Google/Android devices. Xooming right along...

Picked up the WiFi only version on Sunday. Went with WiFi only because I already have a DroidX and can use it as a WiFi hot spot cheaper than going with the 3G plan for the Xoom. I played with this and the iPad 2 side by side prior to deciding. iPad does somethings better and faster (switching screen orientation) and the Xoom does somethings better and faster. The advantage with the Xoom is having 2x the amount of RAM built in. So things like Google Maps keeps up better on the Xoom. I really like the browser on the Xoom better too, but that, like most of the rest of this, is personal preference. The good:- quality build- great flexibility- great camera's front and rear- fully loaded WiFi only version (still has the GPS, gyro and even a barometer)- Great graphics, nice display- Not required to use iTunes to set it up and use itThe not so good:- Screen is a fingerprint magnet, worse I have ever had.- Not... 5/5 D. Good for What I Wanted

Ok, first off this is NOT NOT NOT the case shown in the pictures, except for maybe the one that just shows on side of it. I have Veiwsonic G Tablet running Vegan 5.1. This case looks pretty nice and the keyboard works perfectly. I just got it in today and I wanted to share my first impressions.Because it is a tablet, the soft keyboard will always pop up whenever you click on a writable space. You can, however, simply click back on it to remove the soft keyboard, its not really an issue. One of the picutres illistrates is being propped up without the kickstand, this is NOT that case. You must use the kickstand for it to stand up. It also comes with a stylist, which is just a small pen-shapped piece of plastic. The G Tablet has a capacitive screen, therefore, this peice of plastic does not work as a stylist, but I didn't get the case for that, I got if for the keyboard. That being said, yes the keyboard is small, but with a little getting used to, you'll be typing circles... 4/5 ksVPN - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Not For All Tablets

I purchased this keyboard to use with my Acer A100 tablet. Unfortunately the A100 only has a slave usb port. The keyboard requires a host usb port. What this means is that the A100's usb port is only used for connecting to another computer for data transfer. It will not work with any other usb device such as a keyboard, flash drive etc.I still give it four stars because I think it is very well made/designed, with solid keys. I am using it now to type this review on my MacBook. So make sure your tablet has a host usb port before you buy any usb accessory. You may have to check with your tablet manufacturer. And it does not matter if you have a regular, mini or micro usb port - it just has to be a HOST port. 4/5 Syd Turner - See all my reviews This review is from: Android Tablet Case with Keyboard (Personal Computers) I purchased this keyboard to use with my Acer A100 tablet. INCOMPATIBLE

I would love the keyboard IF it worked with android tab I have. Was advertised as such, but is NOT COMPATIBLE. The ad should be revised to ensure buyer is fully informed about product. You need a full usb port on your tablet, adapter to mini port will not work, even though ad says it will. False and misleading info. Also, postage is too expensive to return product. Now I have paid for something that is not usable. No more online shopping for me! You need to stand behind your products & promote them properly with correct specifications. I am disappointed. 3/5 GibbsLON - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Use with a case

This is a great product. I was very skeptical upon ordering, but once I tried this product out I knew why I ordered it. My tablet mount came with 6 different adjustable mounts for the tablet. The base of the unit is spring loaded so when I put my iPad in the unit with the otter box defender case, it forms a secure fit. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a great tablet holder for stage use that can adapt to any tablet, any case, and is built great. This holder can fit any microphone stand with it's metal c-clamp. I do acknowledge that many features could be added to improve the product, but for around 30 USD, it's a great value and a great product. 5/5 Drummer - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
