    Caution parents...

I bought this product after reading the reviews and recommendations of many. This 4.0 tablet is light, responsive and fast. If you don't follow the directions on how to touch the screen it will be very frustrating. My real reason for writing this review is to let parents know that the tablet is not able to be administrator locked. All of the apps so far are free, and some of the apps are clearly not age appropriate for those under 18(yikes). Now that I have bought it, I am not sure how to tackle this issue. This android tablet is not compatible with the google play app store, cnet app store, and one other one that I can't remember, but it does allow third party app downloads. For the price, it is well worth the money. I will update my review after my children have manhandled it for a while. 4/5 miskalaylay - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Expect to get what you pay for.

I bought this tablet knowing I wasn't buying an iPad or even a Kindle Fire. I wanted a cheap tablet that I could take with me when I travel (I usually go out of the country twice a year and the travel times can be lengthy). I only needed something that could give me decent internet and the ability to play games, music, and movies. The Coby Kyros gives me those options and does it pretty well.Cons:The touch screen isn't nearly as responsive as it is on my Android phone, you really need to push down to make your selection. This tablet is not an authorized Google tablet, so there is no Google Play Store (Android Market) to download apps from, it does have a 3rd party app store, but the apps kind of stink. I did find out that a simple "root"ing can give you access to put Google Play on this tablet (which I will be doing shortly). If it weren't for those two minor inconveniences, this tablet would easily get 5 stars from me.Definitely... 4/5 sumemt - See all my reviews This review is from: Coby Kyros 7-Inch Android 4.0 4 GB 16:9 Resistive Touchscreen Internet Tablet, Black MID7033-4 (Personal Computers) I bought this tablet knowing I wasn't buying an iPad or even a Kindle Fire. Works but not very well in today's tech savvy students' hands.

Bought the for my 11 year old son to use in his classroom where they allow students to bring in their own devices. With today's capacitive screens dominating the market, I knew that resistive screens would be different but was not aware how poorly they perform after being used to capacitive screens. You really have to push hard and I can see why they ship with screen protectors. After a month of using this I would think there would be scratches all over the screen. I did my research, unfortunately the one thing I should have done was go out and get my hands on a resistive screen first. That was the deal breaker; well that and the inability to easily use Google Play store for apps. Yes GetJar has some and yes there are ways to get the rest,... 2/5 J. Did you know?

I bought 3 of these for my three grandaughters. You can install the amazon app store on it and get android apps that install easy and play very well. Amazon gives a paid app for free I believe daily. I was able to install apps like Angry birds on them for free and they work very well. I too, was impressed with this tablet, for the money it is a very good buy. I know it's not an IPad and I would not compare it to it either but, out of most budget tablets, this is one of the best. I played with each one for a while and watched videos online. I did not have any problems. The screen is resistive but yet i was able to scroll and type without the stylus unlike some others tablets that i tried out first.I did a lot of searches on the internet and compared many tablets in the same category.I also bought several and had to return them. For me, this was the winner. 4/5 DG - See all my reviews This review is from: Coby Kyros 7-Inch Android 2.3 4 GB Internet Touchscreen Tablet - MID7012-4G (Black) (Personal Computers) I bought 3 of these for my three grandaughters. great for the money

I have had this for 3 weeks and am very satisfied with it. The get jar apps store is good, plus I downloaded the amazon store apps, kindle, and b&n nook. The speed is decent, connects to wi fi very easily, and works great as an e reader. It comes with headphones, mini usb to usb adapter, stylus, and protective sleeve. The sleeve is just that, fabric to slide tablet in to help protect screen etc. You can store the stylus in a holder on sleeve. I strongly recommend. A great entry level tablet. 4/5 dcinindy - See all my reviews This review is from: Coby Kyros 7-Inch Android 2.3 4 GB Internet Touchscreen Tablet - MID7012-4G (Black) (Personal Computers) I have had this for 3 weeks and am very satisfied with it. Almost Perfect

I had thought and looked into getting an iPad or one of the other larger tablets, but realized that if I was going to spend that much money that I may as well by a laptop. Yeah, they look cool and all, and the number of 3rd party things for it are out there, but I realized that I really didn't want something that big in size. I wanted something that I could easily carry around, see what email I had awaiting for me to read at some point, could sit and read a book, and play a few games. I had looked at some other 7" tablets, but there was just something about them that just didn't give me the desire to buy them, then I came across this one. It's heavier than I expected, and takes longer to start than I would like, but it works for me.I have had no trouble connecting to wifi networks, the apps that I have added work great, going from portrait to landscape is quick, playing video from YouTube and elsewhere works fine, and I have even been able to make Skype calls with no... 4/5 Mkristo "Mkristo" (Oakland, Ca.) - See all my reviews This review is from: Coby Kyros 7-Inch Android 2.3 4 GB Internet Touchscreen Tablet - MID7012-4G (Black) (Personal Computers) I had thought and looked into getting an iPad or one of the other larger tablets, but realized that if I was going to spend that much money that I may as well by a laptop. Great keyboard/cover for Coby Kyros MID7024 & easy fixes for other reviewer's complaints

I bought this after reading many reviews on here and noting that many people said it worked with Coby Kyros. Shipping was FAST! I got it in 4 days with two of them being weekend days. The case is nice and sturdy, great hardcover protection. I was aware it came with the keyboard and plug, and that I would have to use my adapter that came with my Coby Kyros, but it was a pleasant surprise to find a stylus was also included and that there is a nice holder for that and for the cord that holds the plug for the keyboard. Many people have mentioned this case does not fit their 7-inch tablets, but there is a VERY EASY fix. Before placing your tablet into the 3 prongs, first bend the prongs downward (toward the case backing) a little further than they are currently seated. I did this and my 7-inch Kyros (which originally just slipped right in) now fits snugly in the 3 holders. I even held it over my bed and vigorously shook the case up and down while it was open and my tablet... 5/5 Stephanie L (Florida) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) NOT COMPATIBLE WITH KINDLE FIRE!

The keyboard is really good so I was HUGELY disappointed when I found out it is incompatible with my Kindle Fire! The keys are wide and I can use my big old gorilla knuckle-draggers on it with no problem. The stylus is garbage but the case looks good for a faux leather. Where am I going to find a compatible keyboard for the FIRE?..... I recommend this product for the tablets it is compatible with. For the price there is none better! 5/5 Larry Lambert "Producer-Magic" (San Diego CA) - See all my reviews, December 20, 2011

It would've been a good product. If it were compatible with my tablet.

One of the reasons I bought this case/keyboard for my Skypad Alpha is because Amazon showed it in the "frequently bought together" category. I got it in the mail and was really excited because it looks very professional, it adds an extra level of protection to my tablet, and it was going to make typing much easier. The first problem is that you need a USB to Mini USB adapter to even plug it in. The second problem is that, even with the adapter, my tablet wouldn't even recognize the keyboard. I am very disappointed. However, I think I am going to keep it for now just so I can have a traveling case, but I would not recommend this product to any Skytech Skypad Alpha users - it does not work. 1/5 Nicholas P. Great screen response

I searched for quite a while on tablets before deciding to give this one a try. The screen is very responsive, which is what I wanted. The lightest touch and it responds.Had no problems connecting it immediately to my home wi-fi network and I can turn the wi-fi on and off with no problems. It reconnects every time.I've put several apps on it from the Android market and all have worked with no problems. Angry Birds, Pandora, Moon+ Reader, etc.I really like the size and how lightweight it is. It fits great in my purse and doesn't weigh it down.I was comparing this to my sister-in-law's HP tablet and I much prefer the Android OS system over the Web OS along with the size and feel of this one.I haven't had some of the other problems listed. I can plug mine in and still work the screen and it continues to charge while I'm using it.Overall, I would recommend this little device. 5/5 JMichels, Cincinnati, Ohio - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Great Device

This Tablet is great and better than other 7 inch 2.3 android. it's Capactive Screen is really responsive and by only soft touch it runs pretty well. more than I expected and the price is a good deal with a 1 ghz processor and 512 mb. The build is solid. The Camera takes pictures at the first glance it blur but most android do the same for the first but after seconds it is as clear, with a High definition view.Everything that I need is there, you can download books and different apps like calendar Journal and games. I gave the second one as a gift for my wife she is really happy about it, she enjoys the games and the facebook. I am satisfied with the fast and long range wifi connection, not like other Tablet in the market this one you can expand the storage, which you will have no problem adding and changing storage, since you can easily remove and change the micro disk. A GOOD BUY

Price drove me to purchase this product for my children. This is not a bad tablet. It is absolutely great for apps! Quick downloads with thousands to choose from on the Android market. The only issues I have with the tablet is the battery life and unstable Wi-Fi connection. The battery life is short; therefore, it is usually plugged into an electrical outlet when in use. The tablet does not always pick up the wireless signal (though in close proximity). This can usually be resolved by restarting the tablet. 3/5 cplatinum (Virginia) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Great Value, Cool device

After weeks of debating the Kindle Fire and seeing the reviews, I had decided NOT to get one, due to bad reviews and no MicroSD slot. So, what next? Found this tablet, and soon saw that there are multiple versions of this Cortex Box10 Tablet available now for much less than the kindle. Was able to find some videos of it in action on Youtube, plus saw these reviews and that clinched it, especially being able to see some one using it for 10 minutes (just search youtube for "Cortex A710) Surprisingly it arrived in only three days! Worked perfectly out of the box, wifi setup was a breeze. It only had a small charge so I plugged it in and was able to work with it while charging. What a great step up from my semi-smart LG Env Touch phone!Touch screen works great! Downloaded a bunch of free apps from android market and they work great. The screen is nice and bright, and the colors are vivid. Netflix works perfectly, as does youtube. I prefer the browser it came with to the... 5/5 A. Just what I had hoped for. I had been looking all over the web for days looking at prices and reading reviews, and I finally decided to take the chance with this one. Not dissapointing at all.Pros: The screen is great!Five point touch meaning it will detect up to five touches at one time, Android 2.3 which is the latest interface used by most smartphones and works great on the tablet, 4 Gigs of hard drive which is better than 2 gigs which most tablets have for this price range, it's fairly fast specially for the price, it has the official google android market not the apps library, it comes with a nice brown case, shipping on time, user manual is in English, case is sturdy and seems well made to last a while, and browser, facebook, youtube, twitter, amazon, etc. all work smoothly.Cons: The camera(Only in the front) is not the best 0.3 Megapixels which is a little better than my nonsmart phone. I bought 3, i thought that they could be good, BIG MISTAKE. Follow the problems found in the 1st day:1. Touch screen is a HELL, they are like the touch screens used 3 years ago. Even with the pen!!2. Camara: i have never seen something worse than this. it does not arrive even to 0.5Megapixel3. 1 of the tablet i just turned on for 5 min, then it will never worked again (after check out in some forums, this is very frequent)4. 1 of the keyboard does not bring the leds, like the othher 2.5. Suggestion: just google epad 7 inches MID, you will see all the comment, and forum.Really, do not waste your money. I'm trying to contact the seller, to see what can i do! You get what you pay for....

This tablet does the job for the most basic use. I bought it for my daughter so she can learn her A,B,Cs. The battery dies quickly and is a bit sluggish. Again, you get what you pay for. It comes with a keyboard which is useful but keys are falling off already. I have had this for about a month. I recommend it if you have $100 to spare. 3/5 Larry - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Pure Junk

We purchased 3 of these as Christmas Gifts. They were purchased under a seller by the name of advansiagdt. First of all the product came way early....this is normally a good thing except they sat for three weeks and one was broken from shipping (There were several small cracks that were unnoticed on visual inspection. These cracks took some serious investigating to find since the tablets were so scratched up). Still its hard to complain that they came early. Shipping was good. The tablets themselves were just terrible. The touch screens are the worse I've seen with more or less zero touch response. They have a very hard time connecting to the internet. The app store just plain will not work on any of the tablets. The camera is junk. My 6 years year old could draw a picture that looks better and more realistic than the pictures taken with the camera. The usb and ethernet dongle sorta works but does not stay in the port unless you hold it in there. And the processor is as... 1/5 Justin Galvez (Newbury Park, CA, US) - See all my reviews This review is from: 7" tablet computer Android 2.2 epad two point WiFi 3G camera 512MB 2GB - plus (Personal Computers) We purchased 3 of these as Christmas Gifts. Worth Every Penny

This tablet is amazing i already have 30 apps downloaded from the market all for free. I bought this tablet because it truly has the real android market where you can download hundreds of free apps. It's so fast and responsive the one i got doesn't look like the picture but even better, cause that looks like a fake ipad. There are some other ones that look like ipad's, those ipad replicas are cheap and crap stay away from ipad clones. The one the seller sent me was a Wopad V7 there are two kinds the V7 & V7+. stick with the V7(looks like a galaxy tab) & operates like a $500 tablet. I love this tablet. Whats even better is downloading Getjar, which is also free.I have no regrets, for under $200 this is the best ever. Not to mention 1080p video quality, is beautiful my only complain is battery life, but still it's worth it. Those of you thinking about purchasing this, stop reading this and add to cart. 5/5 Eli - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) My first tablet

I didn't want to pay twice as much for Apple tablet so I purchased this tablet and I've had it about a week now and love it. I have my main desk PC for word documents and printing. after burning out my laptop and don't want to carry the weight around when I travel. I'm lucky enough to have wifi at work and home so I don"t need an additional internet source. The keyboard works better for my fat fingers than using my android cellphone. I've been pulling up apps and bookmarking my favorite websites all week to make it easier for me. The only disadvantage I'm having is when I'm on my home email site I can't touch and open the emails without the keyboard popping up and getting in the way. I'll have to find a solution for that. I do have limited knowledge on all the tablets out there in the market. I've only just oberve the galaxy, I pad and one other brand from co-workers. I've already attached the 32SD card which! was very simple for more memory. So far it is doing all the... 5/5 Lena McClary (Michigan) - See all my reviews, April 7, 2012

    - Great Speed and Usability Improvements.- Missing Features and many new Compatibility Issues. The tablet itself is speedy and the capacitive multi-touch screen works wonderfully. Picture viewing has improved by orders of magnitude, and all the basic apps packaged with the tablet have significant feature upgrades. My biggest complaint is that many of the file management features seem to have been eliminated or replaced with more automated processes. (e.g. the media player automatically scans your SD memory card and finds all media files) This seems at first to be an advancement, but it takes away the users ability to navigate to specific folders. The collection of all media is lumped together, making the process of viewing specific files more tedious, especially when a significant number of files are present. My only complaint about the physical product is the plastic edge feels cheap, it is wide with a sharp edge that rests on your hand while holding... 3/5 Golden Products "-VTD" (Arlington, VA United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: Coby Kyros 7-Inch Android 4.0 4 GB 16:9 Capacitive Multi-Touchscreen Widescreen Internet Tablet with Built-In Camera, Black MID7042-4 (Personal Computers) - Great Speed and Usability Improvements.- Missing Features and many new Compatibility Issues. The tablet itself is speedy and the capacitive multi-touch screen works wonderfully. Awesome Case!!

I purchased the Coby Kryos 7024 7" Android Tablet for my mom for her birthday, and I searched online for a case for it and decided to go with one with a keyboard to make the tablet easier to use when surfing the net etc. I found several similar looking and priced cases, it seems to me that they are probably all about the same. With that said, many others had negative reviews with things like "foreign language on the case and keys", not with this one. Also "cheap looking vynal", this isnt real leather, but it looks very nice. Some said that the Kyros tablet would fall out, this case holds it very well. Others said that the keyboard wouldnt work, if those are like this one, I had to go into the advanced settings in the tablet and set the "usb host" and the keyboard works great. (The Kyros comes with the usb to mini usb adaptor) With the tablet in this case, and the "kickstand" set up, it is basically like a small netbook. Great Case for COBY Kyros MID-7022

The Positives:Case fits the 7022 perfectly without adjustment! Using the mini-to-full USB adapter that ships with the 7022, the keyboard functions perfectly and is detected by the tablet almost immediately. Keys have a nice responsive feel. Essentially, turns the tablet into a low-end netbook. Case is sturdy and has a nice look and feel...it will clearly protect the tablet from a lot of potential damage. The Cons:Key labels are not etched, etc., but are just sticker labels. Not sure how durable these will be if used for extensive typing. But hey, for less than $15 you can replace it every year if needed I guess. Would also be nice if the connector had both a full USB and Mini-USB connector split end for use with different types of devices (or a mini-USB connector only since that is what almost all tablets have).Other Points:For capacitive touch screen tablets, the included stylus is largely pointless. Still, it does... 5/5 James Scott Brown "sbrownduke" (Ohio) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Really Nice Tablet

I researched tablets in this price range, as well as tablets in higher price ranges. From my research, i've concluded that although this tablet is no Apple Ipad, for the price that you pay for it, it gets the job done. The wifi works well, games load a little slow, but the graphics are well defined. The tablet itself doesn't feel like one of the cheap made products, and it actually has a good weighty feel in your hands. My only complaint thus far is that i have to use the tip of my fingernail, or a stylus, to navigate, whereas, on my android telephone, i have to use my actual finger. It's a learning experience, but when purchasing this tablet, I expected the "two point touch" to be a bit more realistic. Other than that, the camera does as expected, and Skype works well with it. This is a great beginners tablet, easy to use right out of the box. 4/5 RoseneAlexander - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Fun TOY for the money!

For everyone trying to compare these to a $500-800 ipad, get serious. These are one tenth of the price, and in my opinion, about 80% as good. For the money, it's a great toy once you learn how to use it. Here are some pointers that will help you get the most out of this.1)No, the touch screen is not quite as responsive as the ipad. So buy a few stylus on ebay for 99 cents. problem solved.2)The internal memory is sometimes finicky. (I lost some pic's, etc.) Spend a few dollars on a TF card to mount into this unit. Save all movies, photos, music, to the TF card instead of the units internal memory. I bought an 8Gb TF card for 6 bucks and have 5 full length movies, photos, music, etc. and room to spare. Then when you upgrade units or whatever, you just pop out your card and move all your data in one step.3)Buy some screen protectors, if you plan to keep this a while or give it to a kid. They are about a buck a piece.4)If the android market is your freak, you... 4/5 ZW (Alaska, USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: 7 Inch Epad Android 2.2 VIA 8650 Camera Flash 10.1 Two Point Touch 3g Wifi Tablet Pc (Personal Computers) For everyone trying to compare these to a $500-800 ipad, get serious.
