  Great compact case

  I am ordering my 2nd one of these. The one I have is still structurally sound but I have dropped it a few times and somoe of the paint has scraped off. I tried an Ifrog case but the hole for the auxilliary cable isn't big enough so I can't use it. 5/5 Rene' S.   Good Value for the price

  I bought a similar case on Amazon in red for $2 and as much as I wanted to like it, the quality was just too poor. They missed spots with the red spray paint and it didn't snap together properly, leaving gaps. I decided to get this gray one to see if the quality was any better. I was very happy to find that it is. You can tell it's made by a different manufacturer. On the back half, the black rubbery coating goes all the way around to the inside where the phone sits, whereas on the other one it was just gross bare white plastic that they didn't care to spray paint. The case fits together well enough, there aren't gaps but there's a slight slight rough edge where they meet. Not a huge deal. The color is not as dark as what is pictured, it's more of a light gray, almost silvery, rather than medium gray, and it's not really a deal breaker, but it's the one thing I'm most disappointed about.   While this case looks great and works well, the corner chipped off after about two months of use. It was also difficult to open and the two times i had to open it before then I thought it was going to break. I never write reviews, but this case doesn't have any yet and i wanted to let people know about it.Over all, its a nice case, the apple logo shows through and the sides didn't block any of the screen buttons. My recommendation would be to use this case if its going to stay in a purse or something looser than a girls jean pocket. I believe that it just couldn't take the pressure. Oh yea, and make sure to have a back screen protector on it because dust can get in through the hole in the back.   If you're on the fence about this case... just buy it. I had the mophie and the mili battery case for the Iphone 4... but they both sucked compared to this case. This case wont scratch like those others due to the soft touch of the case. It lasts longer and is soooo much cheaper. It will recharge your iphone 4 about 75% of the way back. I know it says 1700mAh but the mili and mophie are like 1500mAh and will only give you about 40-60% recharger... so this case is defiantly better in terms of power. The feel is great! The only problem and it's not really a problem is the case is not really really snug... I mean you can't tell if you look at it and it doesnt slide around in the case but you could defiantly have a protective film on the iphone and still get it in the case....   Nice upgrade from the original iPhone 4 Defender case

  I used the original Otterbox Defender case for my iPhone 4s, and while it worked ok, this version is a definite improvement. The hard plastic case and the screen protector seem to be the same as the original, other than having larger cut outs for the camera/flash and the front camera/light sensor/proximity sensor area. I never had issues using the 4s camera with the older version case, but I did with the proximity sensor and this case fixes that issue.The holster has been changed to update the release mechanism. The tab that holds the phone in the holster has been shaped differently in order to make the phone easier to clip in and release.The biggest upgrade is to the rubber jacket that fits over the plastic case. The rubber seems to be of much higher quality. It has a firmer, more substantial feel, and doesn't seem like it will lose shape over time.   Seems that some AT&T stores have stocked these on their shelves a little earlier than most stores, so I grabbed one and put it on my iphone 4 right away. (Verizon iPhone 4, not 4S)As far as form and fit goes, it's really similar to the current iphone 4 defender series, the major differences are the cut outs for the front and the back. Also to make note, these cases work on ALL models of the iPhone, whether you have a sprint, verizon, or AT&T model, they'll all work.Otterbox's old defender series didnt properly work with the white iphone 4 due to the location change of the proximity sensor.   I wish there was something a little better

  This box is fairly good overall but it has a couple major irratating factors that may well be a buying point for many of you so I wanted to talk about a couple things that don't get mentioned very often.+ Great Protection and pretty much the best case if you want ideal protection for your iphone 4s from drops on the concrete / outdoor working environment. That's why i got it.- The screen cover is a thin layer of plastic that when sitting on top of the iphone creates a 'film' illusion where if you have good vision you will see a hazy layer. I think it's because there is a small space between the case's layer of plastic and the iphone's face that bends the light. Its quite annoying to me.   First off, I love this case, but I cannot give it more than 3 stars for the following reasons.1. The hole that goes over the mute/vibrate switch is out of alignment and it covers part of the switch itself. I can still flip it with relative ease, but cosmetically it looks like it was poorly designed.2. the hole that goes over the headphone slot covers the 2nd microphone for noise canceling/video recording which could result in poor quality in comparison to an uncovered hole. I simply cut the portion out that covered the 2nd mic near the headphone slot, but it would have looked a lot neater had the case been designed with that in mind. I am attaching pictures to demonstrate what I am talking about.On the positive side, it is a little thicker of a case than I realized, so the phone is actually a little better protected than I thought it would be.   Allllllmost there

  This case is exactly what I thought it would be and I love it. It is not too thick, but will still protect the phone against short drops and light bumps. The way the elements are adhered to the white base are really good and I don't think they'll ever come off. It may be a little funny when it looks like you're holding a GameBoy up to the side of your head, but that's exactly why I got it! I was very pleasantly surprised to see mine actually came with the correct branding elements under the screen (if you know what I'm talking about). I hope the copyright police don't come after me.The only major problem is the hole in the case for the headphone jack is only big enough for the plug itself. That little hole on the iPhone 4 and 4S that is right next to the headphone jack is the noise cancelling microphone so it's pretty important to keep it unblocked.   Honestly I was a little apprehensive about getting an Otterbox, due to the size/bulkiness of the case compares to a case-less phone but after breaking 3 iPhones due to dropping them I figures it was time. After a day or two, I was completely used to the case. I love the silicone portion as it helps me have a better grip so that I am less likely to drop the phone.   I like to buy the best products out there, which normally means I buy the more expensive items. But come on, this is a piece of plastic to protect my iPhone 4 screen. I have only bought a screen protector once before, for my toddler's iTouch, and had bubbles all over the screen. So I thought these screen protectors were all garbage. But come on, this is a piece of plastic to protect my iPhone 4 screen. I have only bought a screen protector once before, for my toddler's iTouch, and had bubbles all over the screen. So I thought these screen protectors were all garbage. But after getting a big scare by accidentally putting my iphone in my pocket with my car keys, and getting a very light scratch on my screen, I thought I'd give these screen protectors another try.And again, I thought I'd try some of the cheapest at Amazon, because, well, it's just a piece of plastic.   GREAT QUALITY. AWESOME PRICE

  The product looks just like the picture. the polyurethane white sides have enough flex to get onto the iphone and absorb any impact, but also tough enough to not lose their shape. The back is a hard polycarbonate plastic. I'm not afraid of anything penetrating the plastic cuz its thick and strong, but not annoyingly thick. You can see the apple and iphone logo through the back just like the pic and nice sunlight, but for the majority of the time when ur indoors, you cant really see it. But that's not why i bought the case.The packaging it came it was totally legit. It was packaged by the brand manufacturer instead of cheap chinese bag, like the majority of cases on amazon for this price.Only Con i would say is the flash does disperse well enough on the subject you are shooting cuz the a little of the light gets absorbed by the case (i uploaded pics to show with notes). and i mean VERY LITTLE and its only been a problem for me once cuz it was way tooo dark that night... 5/5 silvershopper - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)   Not good with white iphone!

  Seems like a decent case, but the colors are more pale than in the photos. This is not particularly noticeable except for the orange which looses so much yellowness it is basically opera mauve (look it up on wikipedia). I'm out of the closet so I'll still put up with it (lol) but just be aware of this.EDIT: I am using a white iPhone 4, which makes the back look brighter. I tested putting a black object behind the cover and the colors looked much more like you would expect (the orange was actually orange). So if you have a black iPhone, its fine!   Love it!

  It came right on time and it fits my phone perfectly. I wanted a cover that didn't make my phone bulky and the Apple logo to be visible on the back. You can see the logos through the plastic but it does kind of scratch easily but it's not that noticeable. I have had the cover for over a week now and they edges have gotten dark from being in my jean pocket. I love the way the phone feels and it looks great!
