    BEWARE OF THIS SELLER!!!!

This is a T.Mobile branded phone. That is not said in the description and it is extremely relevant. Would not have purchased it had it been described as a T.Mobile unlocked phone. The problem is that 3G does not work on other networks (it's not "unlocked" if you need to use 3G network). And in some countries, like Japan or China, you can only use a BlackBerry on a 3G network. I learned this the hard way. Thanks to this misleading seller. What a horrible shopping experience. On top of it, the seller responded that I should have checked the comments from other customers before buying. Unbelievable. If the seller new it was a relevant information, why did the seller not amend it's description? 1/5 Alejandro - See all my reviews This review is from: BlackBerry Bold 9900 Unlocked Phone (Wireless Phone Accessory) This is a T.Mobile branded phone. Unlocked but branded by T Mobile

It would have been nice to know that the unlocked phone was branded as T Mobile. Any other branded phone would have worked for me, but not T Mobile, as is NOT compatible with 3G service in the network I am using. 3/5 L. M. Barral - See all my reviews, October 11, 2011

    Bolder

I will state right in the beginning my view that Blackberries continue to be the leaders when it comes to security, data efficiency, reliability and and practicality. My company-issued Blackberry does not do games very well and I'm not using it to play movies (I prefer the 73" screen in the living room for that) but it's amazingly good when it comes to getting my email and quickly composing new messages or replying to the incoming. Also great at integrating the enterprise email with any Web email services I'm using, Bluetooth-paired devices and the phone features be they 4G or Wi-Fi.Current Bold users should be happy and almost certainly happier with the 9900 because this is very much the 'old' Bold only sleeker, faster or, in other words... bolder. When it comes to new users, it's a crowded marketplace out there. Those who prefer great physical keyboards may want to look into this Bold because you could hardly find a better 'phone' keyboard anywhere and that includes... 5/5 A. Defining the word "Quality"

I've been through hell and back with phones, so forgive me for being pessimistic when I'm standing in the Verizon store wondering what's wrong with each phone they had. I was ADAMANT that my next phone was going to be the iPhone5 because everyone has jump ship to buy one of these, and quite frankly I love how smooth and responsive my iPod Touch 4g is. Well to backtrack, I have suffered through the BB 8320, BB 8330, BB Tour....got fed up with how underpowered and outdated they were with TONS of lockups and LONG resets, went to G1, DroidX, Fascinate....got fed up with just soooo many glitches in Android phones I can't believe anybody actually believes they like them...and believe me....as hesitant as I was...I purchased the Blackberry Bold 9930. Why? Why not the iPhone5? For the following reasons:1. IT HAS AN INDICATOR LIGHT! This technology is so dated that it's CRIMINAL not to include one on every phone manufactured. If you are like me who is always in quiet... 5/5 E. Byer - See all my reviews, September 4, 2011

Step in the right direction for RIM....

I feel for you Verizon customers who have been waiting to upgrade your Blackberries - especially if you wanted a touchscreen BB. Since RIM never released the Torch 9800 for CDMA users, you guys never got to experience that goodness. Surprising since the Torch is (was now, with the release of the Torch 2 and the new 9850 for Verizon) one of the few decent releases from RIM in the past couple of years. Anywho - with the 9930 Bold, those who were left out finally have a reason to upgrade their phones. For those of you who are wondering - this is NOT the Monaco phone that RIM plans on releasing soon. That phone is fully touchscreen - designed to replace the much hated Storm and not too much better Storm 2.Ok, so some list of changes that RIM brought about:- With the release of this Bold, RIM decided to nicely go back to the old style Bold 9000 keyboard. The keys are a bit bigger, so for those of you whose fingers might have been too big for the Bold... 4/5 Quentin Gerlach "IT Guy" (Trenton, NJ USA) - See all my reviews, August 31, 2011

    Best PHONE ever

It was contract renewal time, so visions of new phones for myself and my family danced through my head. I'd been pouring over every detail of the droid phones and the iPhone. My 14 year old son asked..."Aren't they running out of things for phones to do?" I laughed, but then I thought about his question. It's a loaded question and I knew what he was getting at. The silliness of the phone 'pissing contest' with all the youtube videos comparing one to another. The giant screens. Useless gimmicks like `Siri'I decided to stop, take a breath, and decide what I truly needed in a PHONE. I had 160 apps on my Droid and I literally used about 10-15 of those. The rest were part of the 'pissing contest' ("Hey, do you see what my phone can do!? Bro-stache! Voice warping software! 3D games!")I needed 100% accuracy in texts and emails. Clear phone calls. At least a workdays worth of battery life (10 hours of heavy usage). Contacts and calendar sync with gmail. `To... 5/5 Daniel J. Kinem - See all my reviews, March 3, 2012

    Bought from Amazon.com / Comprado a Amazon.com

Finally I got my new device and I can tell that it was all that I was expecting. I bought it from Amazon.com store (not another seller) and when the box arrived the first thing that I checked was the model number and it is RCM72UW, which works with 3G bands 850/1900/2100, so this is AT&T, Rogers, Telus model...not T-Mobile model, so this is good news for me 'cause I use Movistar-Venezuela service. Well, to be honest I can not assure that Amazon.com will always be sending this particular model because they don't make any difference about the 3G compatibility and believe me 'cause I expend a lot of mails to customers service and they couldn't give me this detailed info. I took the risks and bought it anyway. Another info displayed on the box: Blackberry Bold 9780 Smartphone, 1256- Americas (Spanish) QWERTY-Black. Model RCM72UW, Made in Mexico. It comes with OS 6.0.0 Bundle 863. Worldwide Distributors socks

I recently bought a phone blackberry 9780 from Worldwide Distributors. In the Technical details of the product it clearly states "Quad-band GSM cell phone compatible with 850/900/1800/1900 frequencies and US/International 3G compatibility via 800/850/1900/2100/ 1700/2100 MHz, UMTS/HSDPA plus GPRS/EDGE capabilities" The phone I received is not compatible with all 3G bands as stated. I got a T-Mobile phone which works with 3G bands 1, 4, 8 (2100, 1700, and 900) and does not work with 1900 my operator 3G band. I am dissapointed that Amazon been a company of such high reputation allows sellers to publish such false advertisement. 1/5 Zaira Galvis - See all my reviews This review is from: BlackBerry Bold 9780 Unlocked Cell Phone with Full QWERTY Keyboard, 5 MP Camera, Wi-Fi, 3G, Music/Video Playback, Bluetooth v2.1, and GPS (Black) (Wireless Phone Accessory) I recently bought a phone blackberry 9780 from Worldwide Distributors. Used hopefully not abused - Well very abused

The phone was advertised as brand new when i bought it in early January 2011. To my surprise, I switched it on to find a thread of love text messages from some guy back in Oct 2010 which obviously means it had been used. The phone does look brand new and currently works without any problems. It better stay that way considering how much $$$$ is splashed out for the device!!!!So after about one month, the key pad especially the BB button started malfunctioning. I tried to return the phone unfortunately, becos i moved to Africa shortly after the purchase, US customs made it difficult to return to seller. So i decided to cut my losses and buy a new key pad which i did. It worked better although for the BB button, it was still faulty. I then realized it was a problem not of the key pad, but in the underlying board. So i've had to live and struggle with the phone until yesterday when the screen went crazy. Now i cant see anything on the screen. I'm going to have to... 1/5 Cenergy - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This is a really good phone, the touch screen is very responsive, the keyboard the best in the market, Motorola or Samsung can try to copy but they never are going to get to the blackberry's keyboard level. the speed of the phone is excellent, pages load really fast.If you re looking for a good communication device buy this phone, but if you want a phone to play games instead of actually talking to people go with IOS or Android. I have an iPod touch when i want to play games like angry birds.I am in family plan of 4 people and the 4 phones are blackberry bold 9900, one of the person in the plan had an iphone4 before, he love the iphone4 but he could not communicate in the way that blackberry is letting him communicate now. 5/5 Veloz - See all my reviews This review is from: BlackBerry Bold 9900 Phone (AT&T) (Wireless Phone) This is a really good phone, the touch screen is very responsive, the keyboard the best in the market, Motorola or Samsung can try to copy but they never are going to get to the blackberry's keyboard level. the speed of the phone is excellent, pages load really fast.If you re looking for a good communication device buy this phone, but if you want a phone to play games instead of actually talking to people go with IOS or Android. Everybody should own one

This phone is really impressive. To be put simply this phone has all of the strengths of a BlackBerry with virtually none of the past weaknesses. These strengths are: the keyboard, the indicator light, call quality, call clarity, battery life, emails syncing faster, using less data (for those who don't know BlackBerries using RIMs proprietary network consume about 1/2 the data to do the same tasks as everything else), industrial design (this phone just feels higher quality than everything, even the iphone 4s and HTC phones, which are themselves very well made), and bbm (apple did it all wrong by integrating imessage with sms, bbm is great because its an entirely separate messaging client with true extra features, with imessage you may as well text)The past weaknesses which have been fixed:1. Speed--especially in navigating/launching apps this phone is hands down the fastest I've seen, and although the browser on something like the Nexus... 5/5 mks55555 "mks55555" (CA United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: BlackBerry Bold 9900 Phone (AT&T) (Wireless Phone) This phone is really impressive. Love it!!

I Really enjoy using the blackberry bold 9900 especially the great keyboard thats attached to it. The design is simple yet eligent enough to bring a smile to my face every time I pick it up and use this device. I previously owned an iPhone4. I am glad I made the switch. I am happy to say that I am no longer part of the Cult of IPhone and all of the annoying freemium/micro-purchasing BS that has taken over THAT market. One issue that others people are complaining about is the short battery life that comes with the bold 9900 (same issue with the iPhone 4S). The problem persisted until a new update was made that remedied the negative battery life issue. I have updated my Bold 9900 to 7.0 bundle 2392 (v 7.0.0.576, platform 5.0.0.733). This update seems to have fixed the issue as I am still on an 80% charge at 2:44 pm today (without the update, the phones energy would drain itself overnight). I charged the phone last at 7:00 pm yesternight. My network is currently set to 4G & WiFi, and I... 5/5 Deneb56 - See all my reviews This review is from: BlackBerry Bold 9900 Phone (AT&T) (Wireless Phone) I Really enjoy using the blackberry bold 9900 especially the great keyboard thats attached to it. Good but not great

This dock is just good, I like the old one better for the 9800. The difference is that the round bottom on the phone itself requires a round dock, and the roundness is so smooth you can easily fit the phone (let's say) sideways in the dock and it wont start to charge immediately. obviously the clock wont show up or you wont hear the ding-dong sound when its suppose to charge, so it's a very minor problem. But i love the dock sitting on my desk and nightstand. It's TOO easy to be lazy and not go reach for the cable to "plug it in" to charge. This dock lets you be the ultimate lazy bum.4 starts only for the little design deficiency by RIM.Seller was fast and shipped safely ! 4/5 Serge C. Bakmeijer - See all my reviews, November 2, 2011

    Love it!

This is a really good cover at a really good price. I went to the mall recently and bought a cover for my new BB Bold 9930. Paid over $25 for it and when I got home I realized that it was very poorly designed.. it completely covered the speaker on the back!!This cover is superb! Soft, yet adds all the protection your device needs. It extremely well made and looks very very good on the phone. 5/5 Prashant Goel "palluji" (USA) - See all my reviews, September 13, 2011

    Just Right, and a Bonus

I was confused by earlier reviews indicating this cover was too sticky or too slippery.First, this is a fairly thick, substantial case offering great protection from drops, etc. It is not a thin, cosmetic slipper. That may have had a bearing on the earlier reports about texture because the raised button and headphone jack covers, ribbed back cover and screen 'bumpers' make this a larger phone to put in pockets. But the texture is not at all sticky. Sure, it's not like hard plastic but the surface is less grabby than other silicone covers I've used on other Blackberries. The bonus is the included screen cover, which I did not know to expect. It fits perfectly, went on more easily than any other I've used, is bubble free and is totally undetectable. Result! 5/5 Robert Hartmann - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Darn near perfect but still a Blackberry.

Please bear in mind I am not a professional reviewer or experience Blackberry user. I am a technophile with some BB knowledge.HARDWARE:Body is slim and sleek, nice lines and curves. It easily fits in the pocket. Slimmer and lighter than my mothers previous 8330, I think she will like it. Buttons seem a tad smaller than previous Curves, but still easy to press. The menu buttons also have a nice click to them even though they are flat and flush with the body. This was my first time using the newer trackpad on blackberry's and it was nice. Seems a little weird at first but it actually better when you become accustomed to it. Center button clicks nicely and no accidentally rolling around when you try to hit it. Camera and volume rockers are also the newer style, built into the body. They press easily as does the top lock button, also built in (not sticking out). Call quality is good, as can be expected on BB's. Camera is OK but I dont put much stock in phone cameras... 5/5 Shorty L "Shorty" (Virginia, USA.) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This is not an original OEM battery, you have to use a Chinese code-copier (included) to allow your BB 9930 to recognize their "OEM" battery. OEM means original equipment manufacturer, and the products usually do not include retail packaging but should work just like the normal product. This battery looks exactly like the original. I have not tested battery life yet but it has a problem charging up to 100. 2/5 eric - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Fake

Bought two of them,"Fullfilled by Amazon". These are Counterfeit! Came with a adaptor that copies some data from the original battery. Also the white strip on top of the battery is missing on both.If they held a charge I would not mind. As it is they lasted a day each before losing charge rapidly. Eg. Taking one photo would cause the battery life to fall from 65 percent to 3 percent. Why cant I find real Batteries on Amazon as this has happened to me before! 1/5 M. S. Too light, too short, too rinky-dink. Too bad :(

I just bought this cradle and immediately sent it back for the three following reasons:1) The micro-USB cord that attaches to the wall plug is SIX INCHES LONG!! I kid you not. This really boggled my mind. What is the point of buying a cradle with a wall-charging plug, if the cord for the plug is six inches long?? This is insulting. Obviously I would have to go out and buy a longer cord now.2) The base is too light. It has no weight, so if the cord get knocked or jostled, it moves the base. It has trouble even laying flat on the desk if there is a kink in the cord.3) the cradle groove is too shallow. Just getting it to sit upright in the cradles feels like a bit of a balancing act, and then it doesn't always connect with the charging mechanisms, so you need to jostle it around a bit untitl the connection is made. Once all that is done, do not dare bump or brush against your nightstand or desk, as the slightest disturbance will cause the phone to... 1/5 bac2a - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) They could have designed this a MUCH better!

OK what is up with this desktop charger? You have to literally hold down the phone in place and let go a couple of times to see if it stays on the charger. That is RIDICULOUS!!! And the cord that comes with it is SUPER short so you have to buy a longer one. What a croc!!! 2/5 A. Cruz "Always honest!" (New York, NY) - See all my reviews, December 22, 2011

    Broke after two months.

I received the Blackberry Bold Charging pod / stand approximately two months ago. I had another charging pod for a previous Blackberry that worked fine for over two years. This pod worked fine for the first month and a half but the prongs on the pod/stand no longer make contact with my Blackberry as the springs have seem to have failed. As such, my Blackberry no longer charges on the pod / stand which was the entire reason for ordering this product. The quality of this is very inferior to my previous stand for a much older Bold. 1/5 Christopher M. Glad "Chris G" (Chicago, IL) - See all my reviews, November 3, 2011
