  The Storm 2 is a pretty good phone

  After experiencing problems with the original Blackberry Storm, Verizon eventually upgraded me to the Storm 2. I have to say that, for the most part, I have been satisfied with this phone. The touchscreen keyboard is only functional for me when it is in the wider landscape mode. When I try to type in the portrait mode, my fingers cannot hit the correct keys simply from the standpoint of spacing. The keys are just too close together. The one issue I experience consistently is when I try to hit the "a" button I instead get a "q" which I do find frustrating. From the standpoint of overall ease of use, this phone is pretty simple to operate. A good number of apps are available including internet based radio from Slacker, Pandora, and i-Heart radio. You can use an aux cable to connect the phone to your car's radio and play these stations through your sound system. The calendar function, contacts, and e-mail all work extremely well on this phone.   The phone I bought from Mojos Closet was suppose to new.....it's Not

  I bought what was supposed to be an unlocked blackberry storm 2 from Mojos Closet. When the phone arrived and on inspection the phone was not new, it had a verison number and was defective and no manual. I spent over $400 USD and I am without a proper phone. This was my worst experience and I intend to take this matter to Amazon for a resolution. I contacted Mojos Closet all I received was a rude and disrespectful feedback.   Great phone, but some thoughts

  I ordered this phone and got it very quickly which was a pleasure. The phone came in perfect condition and is unlocked as advertised. However, the description states in bold that the phone comes with a 16gb micro SD card and original accessories. Up to now I cannot find this 16gb memory card. I have e-mailed the seller and am awaiting a response.   A rip off.

  I purchased a Blackberry Storm 2 9550 "listed as new" as a gift for my niece, and after only 2 months of start using it, the phone keeps shouting down for no reason. We try a new battery, but it shouts down and it does not turn on. I paid $229.93 for this phone and I really feel so embarrassed with my niece and her parents. This was a real rip off.   I really liked the phone!

  I ordered the phone because my blackberry curve was getting ready to bite the dust, and I decided to upgrade to touch screen. One thing that threw me off was that unlike an iphone or a droid, you actually have to press the screen as if it were a button. The phone also didn't come with a charger, but luckily I had one.   Almost Perfect...

  I've now come to the conclusion that everybody who wrote reviews on the phone spent about five minutes with the device. Part of me doesn't blame them. If I reviewed electronics for a living, I wouldn't want to spend several days really testing the phone. However, with a cell phone as radically different as the Storm, it is unfair to make these judgments on the keyboard, etc. in haste.Simply put, the phone is very good. It isn't as breathtaking as I wanted it to be, however it is not nearly as disappointing as many critics want you to think (**cough** New York Times, excuse me). The keyboard is getting easier and easier to use as time goes by. If RIM put a tracker ball at the bottom of the phone where it is on all the other units, then this would in fact be, an iPhone killer.   May 4, 2010 I have a love-hate relationship with my Verizon Blackberry Storm 1.In April 2010, I bought and returned an iPhone from AT&T and a Sprint Google Android phone from Samsung. I also tried out the BlackBerry Storm 2. My story unfolds...When the antenna on my BB Storm 1 stopped working, my first instinct was to get the Storm 2 from Verizon as a replacement. I checked it out and I was unimpressed. Not much new there, except that it is now Wi-Fi capable. Now, you would think that Verizon Wireless would set up a simple wireless router at their showrooms to show just how fast their phones are, but Verizon is not that smart. Anyway, the Storm 2 is just as pathetic as the Storm 1 when it comes to internet browsing over the network. It's so bad that the Attorneys General of the US should sue them for false advertising. Verizon calls it high-speed internet, but it truly is the speed of dial-up. Remember dial-up? 56K? It takes 30 to 90 seconds to load... 4/5 S.   Fantastic!

  The packaging made me wonder a little, obviously foreign product. I have never given any product 5 stars, but this deserves it. Went on beautifully. After it snapped itself right to the screen, I noticed a tiny piece of lint in the upper corner. That would drive me crazy, so I decided to try and pull the screen protector back from the corner and try to remove it. I really thought I would ruin this screen protector, but thought oh well, I have two more. I peeled it back with my nail, grabbed the lint with tweezers, and the protector snapped back on to the screen, sealing itself perfectly. You can't tell the device has a screen protector on it.   a general warning about screen protectors

  The screen protectors I received were not the same brand or packaging as shown. And, compared to other screen protectors I bought for an ipod Touch some time ago, these were poor. I had little problem with the iTouch protectors, using patience and working slowly. The same process proved hopeless for this cheaply produced product; it was impossible to work out the tiny bubbles, which were not produced by dust but by the inability of the screen protector to adhere properly. It's apparent to me now that the range of quality of these screen protectors varies wildly and it is impossible to know what you're getting until you receive the product. Being so cheap to purchase, I doubt anyone returns them. I won't. As much as I am a loyal Amazon fan, it's a real crap shoot when ordering screen protectors.   My experience:I had my brand new device, opened the screen protector package, then proceeded with the instructions.1. The cloth was useless, it essentially disintegrated, and by the time I was able to get the screen protector on the device - a small speck of the cloth was underneath it.2. The pull tabs did not work entirely as promised for peeling off the plastic backing (ie: the sticker peeled off the backing, not the backing off the protector).3. Step 4 in the instructions says "Gentlyslide the provided installation card over the screen." What installation card?4. If not put in the exactly correct spot (as mine was not, even after 15 minutes of playing around with it), it will affect the touch screen performance.   not completely as advertised, but works

  I only purchased this because I thought (because the picture shows) that this was an actual NEW Blackberry product. Well, the USB cord itself is made by Blackberry, and has the logo. The actual wall charger is not a Blackberry, and doesn't include the logo like the deceptive picture shows. It also is NOT brand new as described. Clearly has scratches and dings all over the wall charger. I did plug it in and it seems to work though so I'll keep it. I will update the review if it ends up not holding charge.   DO NOT BUY! Doesn't CHARGE

  Purchased 2 for travel. Have a Blackberry and Verizon MIFI. The device did not provide a charge to either product. There was also a fit issue with the MIFI unit. I also tried using the base charger from an apple charger product thinking there may be an issue related to the capacity of the base unit. The product still did not work. I would return but shipping charges would not be worth the time. Eventually purchased the BlackBerry Folding Blade Micro Charger for BlackBerry 8900, Storm 9530, Tour 9630, Torch 9800 (Black) which worked perfectly.Don't buy this product!! 1/5 LG (CA United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)   I bought this charger because my other had broke and had it a whopping 2 WEEKS before it crapped out on me! Not only did it take FOREVER to get here(it ships from China) but the whole system sucks!
