Press ##000000 and then press ok, then, where say MOBIL DIRECTORY NUMBER delete the number that appears in there and Write your own number, then press RIM buttom and press Save.. That's it..   Bad refurbished phone

  The Storm 2 is a pretty good phone

  After experiencing problems with the original Blackberry Storm, Verizon eventually upgraded me to the Storm 2. I have to say that, for the most part, I have been satisfied with this phone. The touchscreen keyboard is only functional for me when it is in the wider landscape mode. When I try to type in the portrait mode, my fingers cannot hit the correct keys simply from the standpoint of spacing. The keys are just too close together. The one issue I experience consistently is when I try to hit the "a" button I instead get a "q" which I do find frustrating. From the standpoint of overall ease of use, this phone is pretty simple to operate. A good number of apps are available including internet based radio from Slacker, Pandora, and i-Heart radio. You can use an aux cable to connect the phone to your car's radio and play these stations through your sound system. The calendar function, contacts, and e-mail all work extremely well on this phone.   I bought what was supposed to be an unlocked blackberry storm 2 from Mojos Closet. When the phone arrived and on inspection the phone was not new, it had a verison number and was defective and no manual. I spent over $400 USD and I am without a proper phone. This was my worst experience and I intend to take this matter to Amazon for a resolution. I contacted Mojos Closet all I received was a rude and disrespectful feedback.   The screen protector is slightly too large for a Blackberry storm. Worse yet, there are two tabs that are attached to the protector. The first removes a piece of plastic to expose the static surface, and the second says remove after application to the device. That tab would not come off!!! Even after I scrapped at it and tried a damp cloth to release the glue. It left paper stuck to the screen!   Replacement battery for BB Storm

  After about 16 months on the original battery, I had noticed some odd and unpredictable behavior on my BB Storm. I took it to Verizon and the tech removed the battery. After a couple of seconds of examination, he placed it on a flat counter top and gave it a spin. It spun freely for quite a while. Seems the battery was old and was bulging enough that the sides were slightly rounded.Verizon then offered to sell me a new battery for $40. I realize that phone batteries from Verizon are not cheap, but even so, that seemed a bit excessive. Went to Amazon and found the battery for $8.I ordered it and when it arrived, it was exactly the same OEM battery from Blackberry. Same model, same labeling, etc. Charged up and things have been good since.Even with a couple of bucks shipping, this deal is significantly cheaper than the $40 Verizon wanted. You either have to use the charger or the USB charging/sync cable that came with your phone.   Pros: It works, I use my storm as my alarm clock now. The storm fits snugly into the device. I've even seen pictures where a person had this in their car, but it takes some DIY skills.Cons: You won't be able to use it if you have your storm in a case.Other Thoughts: I wish it had a headphone jack then I could use it as a bedside MP3 player. The storm fits snugly into the device. I've even seen pictures where a person had this in their car, but it takes some DIY skills.Cons: You won't be able to use it if you have your storm in a case.Other Thoughts: I wish it had a headphone jack then I could use it as a bedside MP3 player.
