  The smallest, lightest, and best Blackberry around.

  HI All.I have used a blackberry for over 10 years now...give or take. I have always been impressed by the devices they have created in the past and the current line of devices. Since I like to be on the bleeding edge of tech, I just had to get a 8900.Most of you know by now what the new feature sets are of blackberries that are out today. The bold, the storm, and now this one The JAVELIN.I wont go into too much detail but I will give you my quick run down.The Javelin is perhaps the thinnest, lightest, small footprint blackberry that I have ever used. It sports a great look and the feel to the hands is awesome. It is after all the curve II. Screen comparison to the bold is that this unit has a higher resolution then the bold but a smaller physical screen. The higher resolution definitely adds some clarity to the screen...but it should be duly noted that the BOLD's screen is also beautiful.   Great PDA, messager, and best of all a great phone

  Pros: Reception and call quality!, interface, beautiful screen, syncs with Mac, keyboard, terrific sound on media player, decent camera, and intuitive user interface.Cons: Battery life could be better, can be slow at times with multiple applications open, the Mac syncing software from Blackberry is finicky though it eventually works, no 3G network support :(Summary: This phone is wonderful. My last two smartphones were Windows Mobile and this Blackberry completely blows them out of the water. The interface is wonderful and the OS is really reliable. I put battery life under cons, though it gets about forty hours with one charge on heavy text, email, internet, and phone usage, so this is really a minor complaint.All in all I love this device. Compared to my girlfriend's previous gen Blackberry, this little gadget is a beauty and a top performer.   I bought my 8900 in February when it first came out and I am so delighted with it. Never before have I been so happy with a phone because it can do so much.   Unlocked Blackberry 8900

  After receiving the unlocked Blackberry I discovered that the Blackberry Messenger Services are not included. And AT&T was no help in getting then installed, they say I would have to buy one of their locked Blackberry to get the services included. The seller, J&R, did give me the phone number of RIM but they are on vacation for some days. J&R sugguested that I download the services, but didn't give me specify direccions on specifically how to do this. I am a bit afraid of downloads as that is what put my previous Blackberry out of comission. I bought the Blackberry specially because of the Blackberry Messenger Services, how I don't have any and am having to use SMS.I bought an unlock one this time because I would like to use another service provider's SIM with the phone too.   I always wanted to buy a Blackberry phone, however what I received from Amazon was a refurbished phone. I ordered for a brand new phone, but the phone that I received was in used condition (it had dust around the ear piece, and I also saw a few pics clicked by someone).I was more disappointed when I saw that the phone battery was fake (it was pure black in color, a Chinese make, and had no Blackberry symbol or name on it).   I gave it a four because when I first got it, it took me time to see and get used to the keys because they are kind-of small. If you want bigger buttons get 8330, my sister has one, wish I could switch with hers, but mine is newer and no tracking ball, which I really like to.. about this phone. Its sleek and easy to navigate..Before I had this one I had the 8120, ah--big difference the charge on 8520 last longer and takes a little time to charge up, but its worth it. Also, the keys I wished lighted up a bit brighter, BUT like I said once you have it after a few days you get used to it. My one problem with as I am thinking off the top of my head ..is there are not enough apps to go with or themes made for this model.I am a geek for that, but as of now I have been able to download a few off my blackberry 8120 to my 8520.Also, checking around i was able to get a few more themes, that are just awesome.   the 8520 phone actually works well on at&t! no matter how much you learn the iphone keyboard, a blackberry full physical qwerty still wins, hands down. the spell checker and predictive type on bberry is better vs iphone and with the physical keyboard you misspell a lot less. since you can sync your itunes on here you only "miss" the iphone for its apps which really only work best on wifi. 8520 is lightweight, fairly thin, very light, has nicely spaced keys, and really cool media controls blended into the top of the device. nice use of rubber here on the device too lends some durability to glossy plastic finish. I jammed a 16G nand flash card into it too so i have music, movies etc with me.   Finally I got my new device and I can tell that it was all that I was expecting. I bought it from Amazon.com store (not another seller) and when the box arrived the first thing that I checked was the model number and it is RCM72UW, which works with 3G bands 850/1900/2100, so this is AT&T, Rogers, Telus model...not T-Mobile model, so this is good news for me 'cause I use Movistar-Venezuela service.   Worldwide Distributors socks

  I recently bought a phone blackberry 9780 from Worldwide Distributors. In the Technical details of the product it clearly states "Quad-band GSM cell phone compatible with 850/900/1800/1900 frequencies and US/International 3G compatibility via 800/850/1900/2100/ 1700/2100 MHz, UMTS/HSDPA plus GPRS/EDGE capabilities" The phone I received is not compatible with all 3G bands as stated. I got a T-Mobile phone which works with 3G bands 1, 4, 8 (2100, 1700, and 900) and does not work with 1900 my operator 3G band.   Used hopefully not abused - Well very abused

  The phone was advertised as brand new when i bought it in early January 2011. To my surprise, I switched it on to find a thread of love text messages from some guy back in Oct 2010 which obviously means it had been used. The phone does look brand new and currently works without any problems. It better stay that way considering how much $$$$ is splashed out for the device!!!!So after about one month, the key pad especially the BB button started malfunctioning. I tried to return the phone unfortunately, becos i moved to Africa shortly after the purchase, US customs made it difficult to return to seller. So i decided to cut my losses and buy a new key pad which i did. It worked better although for the BB button, it was still faulty. I then realized it was a problem not of the key pad, but in the underlying board.So i've had to live and struggle with the phone until yesterday when the screen went crazy.   Great option fo smaller phones

  I got this car dock for my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus. It fits very tight with a case and hangs out one side awkwardly. Once I removed the end stopper it fit better but still barely fits while its all the way open. It says it will fit the Galaxy Note which has a 5.3 inch screen but there is no way this is true.   I ordered this soon after I realized I could use my android phone as a GPS device. I spent a lot of time researching and reading reviews before I settled on this one. I felt that this one was the most solid, flexible and had the best value for the price. After I received it, I was very pleased with the device.The mount is solid. It will not break under normal use. The suction cup is strong, and it will firmly stay in place on a clean surface. You can screw to tighten and increase the suction strength. The flaps that keep the device in place are adjustable for width and also side buttons. It is actually pretty neat, and I can't imagine a device that would not fit well unless it truly is just too wide. I use it on an HTC Evo Shift and it fits beautifully. The arm has one adjustment point that lets you move it up-down or side-to-side, depending on how you have it oriented.   Did not fit my phone model Samsung Galaxy SII (tmobile) after they assured me it would. Then I returned it, and they claimed they never received it on their end, and never refunded me. Very poor customer service, did not provide any help in this matter. Very disappointed in this company all together.
