  Run away!

  This phone is the biggest load of crap I was ever overcharged for. Every time I touch this peice of garbage it infuriates me. It's SEVERELY underpowered for the Android OS. I've never seen a more lothargic phone. Just about everything you try to do with it takes so long to load you give up half the time and just end up mashing the home key a million times to try and get it to stop. It's like trying to get a 90 year old man to do you a favor. It get's to it in it's own sweet time.One of the other reviewers was talking about how it will randomly shut down and reboot in hte middle of whatever your doing. Yep. Confirmed. In fact, my phone will randomly reboot in my pocket when I'm not even trying to use it. And when it reboots, you'd better start a movie. Because it takes a full 2 to 3 minutes to boot up and figure out where it is.   Motorola Backflip review

  The piece i have received from the OEM store did not have proper packaging and looked like i was being sols a used piece. The important accessories like USB cable, SD card, driver CD were not provided with the pack.Coming to the phone- I can see green dots on supposed to be black background screen. The phone is very slow and takes so much time even to save a contact. The facebook, gmail apps or email clients won't let you define more than one mail ID from a particular domain. The camera though 5 mp gives an impression of a VGA camera. Sometimes i even can't receive call as the on screen touch control button for that hangs. The way you can store contacts is very bad.On an overall at $ 190 it is value for money piece, but when it comes to quality does not look like someone like Motorola has manufactured it.   Motorola MB300 Backflip. Worst phone ever....

  This is worst unlocked phone I ever had. The first month everything was fine but after that the phone start rebooting when typing a new message, replying to a text, or simply reviewing an app in the App Store, the phone reboots randomly. I have removed any apps I thought could be the problem, but so far, no luck. I tried the factory reset and nothing.I was told it was an issue with the battery beind loose buy a tech checked the phone and the battery is very secure also there was no physical or liquid damage to the phone and I have never dropped the phone. Also at the end I have found that even if the screen is LOCKED and I open the keyboard and press any button, the phone will power off.   This is a great product. It is small, yet has a larger screen then expected. It has Motorola's imfamous Motoblur, which, may I say, is awesome, and it arrived so fast that Amazon said it hadn't even been shipped yet. Seriously. That happened. Lol!   Do your research before purchasing!!!!

  I have had the Motorola BackFlip for about 2 years. I would love to purchase a new phone however funds are limited. The phone worked well for about 3 months. It shuts off whenever it wants and it freezes all the time. Force close messages all the time. My advice to anyone looking into purchasing a backflip is to do research. The update for it does not work. You can not use alot of applications because of that. I can say one good thing about the phone is it is durable. Mine still looks like it just came out of the box. Other than that I have nothing good to say about this phone. The touch screen works when it feels like it. I can only make calls when the phone cooperates.   Not even usable as trash can fodder

  Received the phone as promised. Thats the only good thing I can say for the phone. Phone is set up for AT&T. I use T-Mobile. All the pre loaded applications were for AT&T so none worked for me. I couldn't delete any of the app's and I couldn't download any. The contacts list woluld only show a history, not my contacts which I tried to load. Occasionally the contact list would pop-in. I never figured out what I did to reteive it, it just appeared magically when it wanted. The only things I could do with the phone was to send and receive phone calls. I paid $147.00 dollars for somewhat of a smartphone that would only do what my five year old basic cell phone already does. I'm sending it back to Amazon, thankfully they are only going to charge me $6.00 to take it back. The only accessory in the box was the AC adapter and a owners book which is totally worthless.   good product but hard to get on

  Ok product. After using the first two to get a hang of it I finally got the third on with no bubbles. I would buy this again but buy two sets of the three to go threw the first set to get a hang of putting them on.Pro-Tip - The wipe included just adds more dust to the phone's screen. Use scotch tape and remove all signs of dust from the phone.   Like the others have said, I too found it rather challenging to put it on. It took me the third one to get it on right. I always have heard to get a screen cover for touch screens and when I finally got one I figured they were all the same and didnt really reseach about them so what i got and expected were different. However it wasnt a bad thing. Its more of thin plastic shell cover and you have to make sure you have it on perfect or it will bubble etc. I suggest you use something like a credit card as you apply to work out anything. Also like someone else had mentioned I found the lint pads they provided in the pack were poor.   Inexpensive alternative

  I bought the $30 case for my Backflip from AT&T when I got this phone, returned it 4 days later already breaking. So.This case, for a fraction of the price serves it's purpose. The bottom half is indeed equal in thickness to the expensive case from AT&T.The top half is missing a screen cover, but, that is what broke on the expensive case, and I prefer a ZAGG skin any day. The exposed parts are lightly "rubberized", and after 2 months is still fine. There are small sections that wrap around to hug the 2 phone pieces, those are painted and wearing off already, that took away the 5th star.Overall, yes, this case is not heavy duty, but it protects edges and the exposed keys on the sides and bottom, and allows full access to everything needed, and come on, it's... 4/5 B.   For the price, you really can't beat this. It's a lightweight, specially molded protector that snaps on to the silver edges of the Motorola Backflip. I didn't expect much, reading the other reviews; but it was $.99! If it came broken in two, I wouldn't have put up a fuss. Being extra careful, I snapped on the front and back sections of the case, and twiddled my thumbs a bit to see if I still accidentally pressed icons on the touch screen. Violia! No more accidental calls. The edges are raised just enough to deter your curious thumbs from making unwanted touches (most of the time).As far as the physically protective quality goes- I'd think twice about dropping it. The plastic is extremely light, and pretty easy to bend. But I'd say that it seems like it could take a few falls before it becomes damaged.All in all; it does what it needs to do.   Learned lesson....Duct tape fixes everything!

  This is my second cover because of the flaw in the design of this snap on cover. Where the Backflip flips open to use the keyboard, there is no clip to hold it on. So since I lost the first screen cover when it fell out of a phone holder hitting the floor, I knew that the next one would need a small piece of Duct tape to prevent the cover from coming off by accident again.See my review of the purple one that shares how I lost the first screen cover.I hope that the company that makes these covers makes the new future ones with the extra clip to prevent the cover coming over in the future.Thanx.Namaste & Blessed Be!Tiggs 4/5 Kirk A.   Awesome color!

  I love these covers. They do JUST the right amount of protection when used with a screen protector film. I LOVE the color. It's not hot pink like it looks in the picture, but a really pretty metallic pink/magenta color.   The case was really nice looking but the top part of it broke first time put on. Still use it even though it doesnt stay on well. Shipper was great and fast! Will buy from again.   Not that happy.

  First of all, the actual phone cover isn't even purple. It's more of a pink color. I personally don't care much for pink that's why I bought a PURPLE phone cover. Second of all, once I opened the package I found that the bottom of the front cover was bent and the prong that holds it onto the phone itself was broken off.   This case worked well to protect my phone from drop damage, but began to peel off the outer layer after a month or so. Then the thinner edge snapped in two.   My battery overheated so I was trying to find a new one for a cheaper price, and though still a bit too expensive for my taste, I'm glad it works and now my backflip is back to normal.Never keep your phone under a pillow. The dumbest thing I've ever done.   Ordered 2 replacement batteries, one was completely dead I couldn't even charge it. The second one charged but doesn't last very long. Almost as if they repackaged 2 recycled batteries.   This does fit the Motorola BackFlip, and does identically to the one that came with it.
