AT&T Quickfire GTX75 Cell Phone Orange
Wireless (Quickfire)

Recalled
I bought this phone and loved it, until the touch screen stopped working. When I called AT&T they informed me that it was recalled in 2009. There is nothing they can do for you either, so don't even waste your money. It will work for a few months and then NOTHING. Now I am out the money. Amazon should take this item off it's site. 1/5 laurahi - See all my reviews This review is from: AT&T Quickfire GTX75 Cell Phone Orange (Wireless Phone Accessory) I bought this phone and loved it, until the touch screen stopped working. I bought this phone when it first came out. Which I guess was three years ago? For a touch screen this phone was very durable! I'm a horse rider so I useually go through phones like I do clothes. I've had horses "eat" my phone before. Anyways, I dopped my phone to many times to count on concrete,in mud among other things, the screen never cracked unlike the Iphone and other touch screens. People say it's a crappy phone, though I do not agree. I don't think its the phones I honestly think it's just At&t. I will definitly be buying this phone again! 5/5 onyx_cross - See all my reviews This review is from: AT&T Quickfire GTX75 Cell Phone Orange (Wireless Phone Accessory) I bought this phone when it first came out. This phone worked ok when i first got it, but after a couple of weeks the touch screen would feeze up when i was texting and i had to reset it ever time it did that. Also when i go some where i keep my phone in my back pocket but every time i would put it there it would turn of and i would have to take the battery out to get it to come back on. Theres one more thing you should know before getting this phone. IT IS BIG!! Its so fat and heavy its not worth what i paid for. Trust me this phone is not worth what i paid for,ive had this phone for only couple of months and ive all ready bought a new one of of amazon. i regret buying this phone and i wish i could return it. 2/5 person000 - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Samsung Infuse 4G Android Phone (AT&T)
Wireless (Samsung)
List Price: $599.99
Infuse vs Captivate
I've never had a phone or PDA where I didn't have to sacrifice a lot to get something else. Not with this one. I am a Google addict. I use Google Docs, Tasks, Contacts, GMail, Calendar, etc. So of course this phone works perfectly with all of that and syncs well with my Galaxy Tab, Windows 7 PC and MacBook Air.Before this I had a Captivate running Froyo and wasn't sure if switching would be worth the cost, as I mainly have just wanted a bigger screen. I don't know why iPhone does so well at only 3.5". You can't read text on something that small. I could barely stand 4" Captivate. 4.5" seems to be the sweet spot. Especially since the phone is so thin and light. Perfect width for telephone conversation and surfing, typing. The biggest surprise though is the battery life. I have never had a smartphone last a whole day and I do not talk much on them or play media. Just surfing, texting and updating calendar, tasks, etc usually drains the battery. On my Captivate I... 5/5 Todd Stevens (North Carolina) - See all my reviews, May 19, 2011This Phone Is Snappy!
You are going to hear a lot of opinions on how this phone isn't dual core, isn't the Galaxy S II, too big, blah blah blah. Unless you simply must have the "next generation" phone this fall, if you are looking for the BEST AT&T Android phone, the Samsung Infuse is it.On paper, I didn't upgrade by much...I already had the pretty good Samsung Captivate. But after a few minutes with the Infuse, I could already tell this was a great phone. The performance is so snappy and quick. I don't have official benchmarks but for instance, I am a heavy Google Reader user. On the Captivate, when I would choose "Mark All Previous Read", it would take, on average, 10 seconds. Now, it is about 1 second. This is on both Wi-Fi and "4G". App loading and closing is also much faster. I did have my home menu in a long "spinning symbol" after running some apps and I even rebooted but it has since not returned. The screen is absolutely beautiful. Bight, big and sharp. The screen size was... 5/5 Brian A. Wolters (Cabot, Arkansas) - See all my reviews, May 16, 2011Arguably the best. Far better than iphone
I used the iphone 2G, 3GS and iphone 4. Of course the last one had major issues with the dropped reception. I have been looking for an andriod phone to get me off Apple and iphone, but NO ONE could match the touch feeling of the iphone. Blackberry touch, you have to tap several times, even Motorola Atrix the response was not great and I returned it. Besides that in the Atrix email program, I could not see Html mail well. Then I heard that Samsung makes the screen that iphone uses and I had heard good feedback on the Galaxy series, that their touch was super. I decided to go with a Samsung product.Outstanding. Impressive. Forget Iphone.Touch: the response is super, even better than the iphone. Yes even better.HTML Email: Excellent, reads it very well.Speed: Excellent processes requests very fastbattery: Wow! for the smartphones these days that barely last a day, I have gone 3 days so far and not needed a charge. Samsung Galaxy S II 4G Android Phone (AT&T)
Wireless (Samsung)
List Price: $599.99
A nice phone, good battery life, snappy and perfect size.
I previously had an iPhone 3G, I loved that phone but it broke and I wasn't ready to sign a new contract so I moved to Virgin Mobiles Optimus V. I liked that phone as it was my first step into the android world. I then bought (and returned) a Motorola Triumph which was supposed to be a good phone but it failed. I then finally decided to step up to the Galaxy S2 and while it's only been a few days I'm very pleased.Battery life:I started my day out yesterday around 5:30 am, as I drove to work I had a video podcast playing on the phone and that ran for around 30 minutes during my commute. I got to work and then started playing a little with the phone but mainly using it for web browsing and listening to Audio the remainder of the day. I did play some words with friends, downloaded a few new apps from the market and showed off the phone and by 1:30 pm I was at 60% battery life. Not bad to only use 40% in 8 hours. At that rate it's approx 5% battery per hour which tells... 4/5 J. Haggard (Nashville, TN) - See all my reviews, October 12, 2011Galaxy S II versus iPhone 4S? Can't go wrong with either
After being an iPhone / iOS user for a year and a half and as an Android / Atrix user for only 6 months (thankfully without a contract extension), I used that saved upgrade subsidy on getting a SGS2. After following the rave reviews overseas about it, and after enjoying the developer friendly Android OS, I figured this would be the phone I would use for the next few years. Overall, it is an absolute gem of a phone that has little nuances here and there. When compared to an Atrix 4G, it's absolutely night and day. All the hype over Samsung's AMOLED Plus screen is no joke. The colors are absolutely brilliant in comparison to Motorola's Pentile display. Moving about the screen is silky smooth, with no lag at all. Going back to the Atrix, you can tell the motion from screen to screen just isn't as sweeping. The camera differences are amazing different, both in pictures and in video. Color in the pictures taken by the SGS2 is just much crisper and deeper, especially with black... 5/5 Esc. - See all my reviews This review is from: Samsung Galaxy S II 4G Android Phone (AT&T) (Wireless Phone) After being an iPhone / iOS user for a year and a half and as an Android / Atrix user for only 6 months (thankfully without a contract extension), I used that saved upgrade subsidy on getting a SGS2. My first foray into the smartphone world has my friends extremely jealous. I have played around with other people's smartphones for years, and never saw one as close to perfect as this one is. Great battery life, beautiful screen, wickedly fast processor (has set a record in quadrant benchmark), decent reception and call quality, and a strong gps that locks on my indoor location even in windowless rooms without the assistance of wireless networks! About the only thing that is missing is an LED notification light, but that is easily remedied with the Marketplace App "NoLED," which does the trick nicely. I have also used the very buggy Epic 4G Touch on Sprint, and the form factor on this phone is superb -- not too big and classically simple aesthetics. 5/5 John Winters - See all my reviews This review is from: Samsung Galaxy S II 4G Android Phone (AT&T) (Wireless Phone) My first foray into the smartphone world has my friends extremely jealous. HTC Inspire 4G Android Phone, Black (AT&T)

Better than the iPhone 4 ?
I don't write many reviews for products that I buy, but this product deserves some recognition. In a few words: It is amazing. I love many things about this phone that I may have to list the pros and cons...I think I will actually do just that:ProsLarge screenThe screen, measured diagonally, is about 4.3". This is very large. If you are used to a smaller screen like on the iPhone, get ready for some adaptation to this phone. The screen's size makes it easier to see things like text, pictures, etc. The only bad thing about this screen is that when you compare it to the iPhone 4, you can tell that the Inspire does not have a "Retina Display" as Apple calls it. In other words, you can more easily see pixels displayed on the Inspire than you can on the iPhone 4. Although, don't get me wrong. The Inspire's screen is very nice and sharp with good brightness settings overall, it just isn't as sharp as the iPhone 4's screen. Also, the outer screen... 5/5 Brad Setzer "Brad" (NC, United States) - See all my reviews This review is from: HTC Inspire 4G Android Phone, Black (AT&T) (Wireless Phone) I don't write many reviews for products that I buy, but this product deserves some recognition. 2 weeks into use, I've got to say I'm very satisfied. This is a powerful phone for only $50-$100 at various retailers. What's nice:- Solid, high quality feel (and I actually like the fact that it has some weight).- Beautiful U.I. with the most recent HTC Sense update.- Maps is pre-cached, helps with navigation and in areas with bad reception (welcome to at&t!).- Great hardware, I have not had any issues with lag or freezing. Pulse is the only app I've had to force-quit (twice). My advice to get the most out of this device:- Upgrade your data plan to $25/month for 2GB. I went through 140MB on the first day (downloading apps, customizing, and setting up the device).- If you are having difficulty opening the battery door, get your fingernail right underneath the edge of the battery cover near the bottom of the volume rocker and pull away from device like you are trying to break it off (It pops-off rather than slide-off like the... 5/5 Alexson Lim (San Luis Obispo, CA) - See all my reviews, March 4, 2011First android phone- Love it!
Android:I am blown away by the all the different apps and features of the android in general. I have not felt this shocked by a electronic device since I used the internet for the first time in 1995. It is not as idiot proof as apple's operating system though. I find myself spending quite a bit of time getting used to where all the settings are located for various programs- there are just so many options for everything. This is fine for me since I consider myself relatively tech savvy, but for some users, this may be overwhelming. Although I love this phone, I am recommending my 50+ year old parents to buy the iphone because I think the iOS operating system is much easier to use.As for this phone:It is my first android phone and I really love this phone, but it has some areas with rooms for improvement. HTC did include all the features one could want in a phone.-Battery life is shorter than I would like in a phone- I charge it everyday. My ipad on... 4/5 F. Great Phone
I've had this phone for almost a year now and other than the occasional dropped call (probably service, not phone), I love it! No, it's not a smartphone, but it does exactly what I need it to do. I'm always using mine to send pictures to Facebook and I have to say that it takes some pretty good pics. It may not be the best phone for someone with big hands as the keys are pretty small and take some getting used to. All in all I would recommend it. 5/5 MissouriGirl - See all my reviews This review is from: Samsung A187 Unlocked Phone with QWERTY Keyboard, 1.3 MP Camera, Music Player and Speakerphone - Unlocked Phone - US Warranty - Blue (Wireless Phone Accessory) I've had this phone for almost a year now and other than the occasional dropped call (probably service, not phone), I love it! The weakest part of this phone is the camera and the lack of video camera. The internet is sufficient for my needs. Call quality is very good and there is an external memory slot which is really handy. I would recommend get a silicone skin, amazon has good deals on them. For anyone who needs an att phone and doesn't have an upgrade the a187 is a great choice, highly recommended. 5/5 T. Canavan (Lancaster) - See all my reviews, November 26, 2011Excellent, Excellent Phone
I love this phone, I have had it a month or so now, it gives me reception in alot of areas that my daughters blackberry will not hardly pick up on. Works great with bluetooth, has a lock on the keypad to keep mishaps from happening if I drop it in my handbag. I may order another before to long, when there is a great phone it seems like they don't stay around long. The battery life is excellent. I charge mine once every three to four days. I am a medium user, talk some, text some, so the phone is far better than what I had before. Battery life was my first concern, did not want to have to recharge everyday, with this one I do not, the speaker works well without problems, the sound quality is very good, volume is easy to up or down (button on the side) if you want camera quality then this phone does not take pics like the iphone, but its decent, if your more concerned about getting reception and good connection then this phone is for you. 5/5 Bluegrass2harmony - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Great Phone!
I've had this Samsung Impression for a month now. It is awesome in almost every aspect. I LOVE the keyboard! I would recommend this phone for anyone who prefers to text.PROS: Great Keyboard, Battery isn't too bad if you don't surf the web alot, Sturdy good quality plastic, great camera features! you can edit photos, Great sound quality when talking on the phone, great speaker phone, overall a great PHONE!CONS: No wi fi... The Impression is an amazing phone. I chose this over the LG xenon because its bigger and better. It's AMOLED screen is super bright. Pictures and video looks amazing. The touch screen is responsive and has 4 different levels of haptic feedback. For receiving calls and messages, you can choose different vibration patterns and 7 different levels of vibrate. The keyboard is pretty big and if you have a small hand, it might slow down your typing a bit. There's a handy message button on the keyboard that opens a new message. There are 4 different ways to text(full qwerty keyboard, virtual qwerty, virtual T-9, and you can also draw letters to type). The keyboard is slower than me, so I'll stop typing and it will keep going.Calls are loud and clear. You can also use videoshare during calls with other videoshare enabled phones. The camera is great. You can't zoom with the camera, but you can zoom in the video mode. The camera also has frames which are kind of... 5/5 Greg Kommel (Southern California, USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Samsung SGH a877 Impression - Cellular phone - 3G - WCDMA (UMTS) / GSM - touch / slide-out keyboard - crystal blue - AT&T The Impression is an amazing phone. This phone was just what I wanted with a little more added in. I was basically looking for something that could function like a "smart" phone (iphone, palm pre, blackberry, etc) but wouldn't have a proprietary monthly charge for using. I mainly text message, talk on the phone, take pictures, and occasionally surf the web.The slide out keyboard is a real plus. It is a bit large, so you have to get used to that. The AMOLED screen is really bright and has a great picture. The phone quality is pretty good. The camera doesn't have a flash, but at 3 MP it takes decent pictures. On some screens (viewing pictures, browser, typing a message), you can turn the phone sideways and it will rotate the picture (like the iphone), but the rotating is inconsistent (doesn't work in some places where it seems it should). My main gripe about this phone is that AT&T's webmail doesn't include gmail (which I already knew, so maybe it's more of an AT&T gripe). Also, the downloadable... 4/5 James Ganong - See all my reviews, July 7, 2009This product has been carefully audited and is certified to be 100% functional. This offer includes the following accessories 1. I got this phone a few weeks ago because my smartphone had too many quirks and I have several months before I can upgrade. It works great for phone calls. Answering and disconnecting calls is so easy to do, no sliding like with the android. But as far as texting it is not the best. I like larger buttons and that is why I wanted a slide out keyboard. But the buttons are too small to easily text. I also noticed that the screen is not as sensitive to touch as it should be. Trying to get something on the screen to move or work can be frustrating because it takes some effort to manipulate, move, whatever. The battery is not as bad as some reviewers have stated. It lasts a couple of days with normal use. It is NOT a smartphone so don't expect it to be. But, all-in-all, I give it a B overall. 3/5 P. Fast. Complicated. Eats megabytes for breakfast.
I've checked out what other reviewers have had to say about this phone, and find myself in agreement with most of them. The phone is amazing. Here's what else you need to know:a) data planb) appsc) user manualData Plan: you will need a separate data plan for the phone. My wife has an iPhone 3G, with an unlimited data plan from AT&T. But that phone doesn't use the 4G LTE network. AT&T is slowing building out its 4G LTE network, and it may not be available in your area. You have to buy a plan whether or not you currently have 4G LTE coverage. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that 4G LTE was available in my area, even though the official AT&T coverage map didn't include it.I bought a 200 megabyte per month plan. It seemed like a lot of bytes. Then I started using my phone. Trulia has a great app that lets you find the houses for sale in whatever neighborhood you find yourself in. This is a great phone, I have owned it for 3 days now and i really like it. The build quality is great, even though it is plastic. The phone itself looks beautiful and feels great, the weight is also good it doesn't feel to light or to heavy. The screen is one of the best ive seen on any phone. Everything cant be perfect though.I am not in a lte market so i cant comment on that aspect. As far as the phone goes you do have to keep a couple of things in mind. The phone has a 4.5 inch screen, although this sounds great it has some obvious draw backs. With the screen being so big one of the draw backs is size. It is not a comfortable phone to carry around and putting it in you're pocket as well as pulling it out can be awkward. I wear slim jeans and this has become an annoyance. When you talk on it you notice the size, it feels like holding a scientific calculator to you're ear.The second draw back is once again the screen size. This being 4.5 inches it takes up... 4/5 Eliseo Roman (Hawthorne, Ca) - See all my reviews, November 11, 2011Review for Samsung Skyrocket
I will start with the bad things first:Price: I initially bought it from Amazon wireless and they said it won't be delivered until December, so I canceled my order and went with ATT premier store and paid full price on the phone. It is like 70 dollars more.Battery: I took it off the charger at 9am today, right now it is almost 2pm and I am at 63%, I did used Google Navigation (while charging in the car). And mostly light browsing, power saving mode seems to help a lot, with 60 percent it can last me till the end of the day with almost 5% left. (Tested that yesterday) So battery life is not great but given it is an LTE phone with 4.5 inch screen, I would say this is 50/50.Accessories: Lack of accessories for now, you might want to get a good case for this considering it is a very delicate and expensive phone, you don't want to test the durability yourself. And no HD screen. & ATT customer service, ATT wouldn't give me the unlock code even... 4/5 Tech Gadget geek "gadget testing geek" (Chicago, IL USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket 4G Android Phone, Black (AT&T) (Wireless Phone) I will start with the bad things first:Price: I initially bought it from Amazon wireless and they said it won't be delivered until December, so I canceled my order and went with ATT premier store and paid full price on the phone. My first smartphone was the Samsung Galaxy S (Captivate), then the Samsung Infuse, which was a faster, bigger Captivate, and now the SII Skyrocket, so you could say I've seen the evolution of Samsung's Android phones and software.Let me start by saying this is an awesome phone. Amazing, even. When I compare it to my 1 year old Samsung Infuse, it blows it out of the water in every respect (except the screen, which I'll get to later).UI - The UI on this phone is fantastic. I personally find Touchwiz to be a nice add on to Android. The notification bar switches are VERY useful, especially Wifi, rotation, and GPS. This phone has many added animations, which make everything look much smoother than stock Android. The new widgets like the Calendar and Photo Frame are very nice and add a lot to my home screens. The Phone/Messaging apps are some of the best I've seen. The camera is simpler than before, so easier to use. Overall the UI is a great improvement... 5/5 Ro - See all my reviews This review is from: Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket 4G Android Phone, White (AT&T) (Wireless Phone) My first smartphone was the Samsung Galaxy S (Captivate), then the Samsung Infuse, which was a faster, bigger Captivate, and now the SII Skyrocket, so you could say I've seen the evolution of Samsung's Android phones and software.Let me start by saying this is an awesome phone.
