  I bought this phone and loved it, until the touch screen stopped working. When I called AT&T they informed me that it was recalled in 2009. There is nothing they can do for you either, so don't even waste your money. It will work for a few months and then NOTHING. Now I am out the money.   Loved this phone!

  I bought this phone when it first came out. Which I guess was three years ago? For a touch screen this phone was very durable! I'm a horse rider so I useually go through phones like I do clothes. I've had horses "eat" my phone before. Anyways, I dopped my phone to many times to count on concrete,in mud among other things, the screen never cracked unlike the Iphone and other touch screens. People say it's a crappy phone, though I do not agree. I don't think its the phones I honestly think it's just At&t.   ths phone

  This phone worked ok when i first got it, but after a couple of weeks the touch screen would feeze up when i was texting and i had to reset it ever time it did that. Also when i go some where i keep my phone in my back pocket but every time i would put it there it would turn of and i would have to take the battery out to get it to come back on. Theres one more thing you should know before getting this phone. IT IS BIG!! Its so fat and heavy its not worth what i paid for.   Better than the iPhone 4 ?

  I don't write many reviews for products that I buy, but this product deserves some recognition. In a few words: It is amazing. I love many things about this phone that I may have to list the pros and cons...I think I will actually do just that:ProsLarge screenThe screen, measured diagonally, is about 4.3". This is very large. If you are used to a smaller screen like on the iPhone, get ready for some adaptation to this phone. The screen's size makes it easier to see things like text, pictures, etc. The only bad thing about this screen is that when you compare it to the iPhone 4, you can tell that the Inspire does not have a "Retina Display" as Apple calls it. In other words, you can more easily see pixels displayed on the Inspire than you can on the iPhone 4. Although, don't get me wrong. The Inspire's screen is very nice and sharp with good brightness settings overall, it just isn't as sharp as the iPhone 4's screen.   2 weeks into use, I've got to say I'm very satisfied. This is a powerful phone for only $50-$100 at various retailers.What's nice:- Solid, high quality feel (and I actually like the fact that it has some weight).- Beautiful U.I. with the most recent HTC Sense update.- Maps is pre-cached, helps with navigation and in areas with bad reception (welcome to at&t!).- Great hardware, I have not had any issues with lag or freezing.   First android phone- Love it!

  Android:I am blown away by the all the different apps and features of the android in general. I have not felt this shocked by a electronic device since I used the internet for the first time in 1995. It is not as idiot proof as apple's operating system though. I find myself spending quite a bit of time getting used to where all the settings are located for various programs- there are just so many options for everything. This is fine for me since I consider myself relatively tech savvy, but for some users, this may be overwhelming. Although I love this phone, I am recommending my 50+ year old parents to buy the iphone because I think the iOS operating system is much easier to use.As for this phone:It is my first android phone and I really love this phone, but it has some areas with rooms for improvement.   I've just bought this phone over the past weekend at BB for $15 and bought $25 airtime.Service:So far, I have to say I am quite happy with it. I previously had T-Mobile prepaid but had to switch because I had no service in my house. After switching to AT&T, I can actually make calls/texts in my house. The service is quite cheap as well, I am on the Simple Rate plan. It costs $.10/min to talk which gets deducted from your prepaid balance. Standard texting costs $.25 per text, but I bought 200 messages for $4.99 that lasts for 30 days (Comes to $.02/text).Cell Phone:The phone was super cheap and yet it is quiet sturdy.   WARNING: AT&T unethically scamming people

  I opted for the pre-paid plan that charges $2.00 for only the days I use the phone. Sounded like a cheap way to have a cell phone without a monthly bill. Wrong.First, the packaging fails to advertise that your pre-paid minutes expire if not used within certain time frames and non-use will deactivate your phone which can never be reactivated or used with another provider. So if you let it lie dormant for 3 months, you can throw it in the garbage.Second, the packaging fails to advertise that AT&T will call my phone every few days and leave voice mail messages. You cannot tell who left a voice mail until you retrieve it, so I must "use" the phone to retrieve the voice mail, and get charged $2.00 to find out that AT&T left a baloney message about billing cycles ending or beginning -- I DON'T HAVE a billing cycle since I'm pre-paid!!!   A solution-painless replacement of a lost phone on a family plan

  My stepson lost his mother's cellphone. The phone, which my wife did not like much anyway, was on my family plan. My wife prefers clamshell phones so my plan to pass her down my IPhone 3GS was not met with any enthusiasm. So how did I get her a new cellphone, one she likes, put it on the plan, and not extend my plan by another two years?This phone is the answer. First it's a clamshell. Second it is priced right. Third, AT&T will put in a new SIM card for her family plan number. Finally none of this extends my existing plan should I want to switch providers (and I am not sure I do since AT&T is getting better).Now please note that by installing a new SIM card, this becomes a regular cellphone on my plan. It is no longer a prepaid phone.The voice quality is quite good. It has a camera, which my wife is unlikely ever to use.   I've had this phone for almost a year now and other than the occasional dropped call (probably service, not phone), I love it! No, it's not a smartphone, but it does exactly what I need it to do. I'm always using mine to send pictures to Facebook and I have to say that it takes some pretty good pics. It may not be the best phone for someone with big hands as the keys are pretty small and take some getting used to.   Great phone

  My blackberry ate the dust so I decided to buy this phone because I did not have an upgrade available. I really like the features and the price is second to none. The weakest part of this phone is the camera and the lack of video camera. The internet is sufficient for my needs. Call quality is very good and there is an external memory slot which is really handy.   I love this phone, I have had it a month or so now, it gives me reception in alot of areas that my daughters blackberry will not hardly pick up on. Works great with bluetooth, has a lock on the keypad to keep mishaps from happening if I drop it in my handbag.   Can't believe this phone passed quality testing

  First, some background - I'm a software developer that has been writing code that either runs on mobile phones or consumer electronic devices that talk to phones, since the late 1990's. I bought this phone for my 14 year old (previous phone - a bullet-proof Samsung BlackJack II of nearly 4 years).The build quality is excellent, well above par for the class. This ain't a Pantech this or Samsung that. Nice aluminum, excellent screen, resolution, size, battery life, the works. The only hardware glitch is the micro USB port needs some care when plugging in, and the battery compartment is a bit too creative. Nothing bad there, just a bit strange. The hardware feels solid.The software is for the birds. Not to offend my former collaborators at Qualcommm, but it really is for the birds.- The HTC Sync does not work.   Great as design, but the WORST quality as a phone

  I have ordered this phone for two weeks, and at the beginning I was so excited to find a touch screen phone with HTC sense UI, an android-like system (BrewMP OS), a phone without data plan required, and from great HTC. I am tired with iPhone, and have a tablet with Android, so maybe this is the time for me to give a try on a new system. But I am wrong.   Very Pretty, Sleek Detailing, Great Fitting Case!

  First, I've gotta say (only because it drives me CRAZY) that this case is the (AT&T, idk about Verizon) iPhone4, and I assume they mean iPhone 4 "S", there is no iPhone "4g". Okay, that being said, I have an AT&T iPhone4, and this case fits very well. It's very very pretty, true to screen appearance. Much like other cases, it attaches to the back of phone and just wraps around the sides, it doesn't cover the front- nor does it claim to. All too often reviews trash cases that don't "protect" the front of the phone, but this is something that is easy to tell just by looking at the picture or reading the description of the case before buying. Personally, I prefer cases that leave the front of the phone unobstructed as to not hinder its use.   I love the looks of this cover and it fits great. The only problem it had (which was a big one), the cover bled on my skin. After using my phone, my skin was the bright pink color.   Don't purchase

  I bought this for my new iPhone 4s and it fits perfectly. The color is slightly darker than the picture, but you wouldn't really notice unless you put them side by side. I would call the color turquoise (as in the jewelry). It seems very sturdy and just as good as a 25 dollar case. I would definitely recommend this. What a great price! The front of the case does not have a lip (it is flush with the front), so if you placed it face down, it could get scratched. I would recommend getting a screen protector.   The color's a little darker than the picture. I expected something lighter than pictured but the case is pretty durable.
