    Recalled

I bought this phone and loved it, until the touch screen stopped working. When I called AT&T they informed me that it was recalled in 2009. There is nothing they can do for you either, so don't even waste your money. It will work for a few months and then NOTHING. Now I am out the money. Amazon should take this item off it's site. 1/5 laurahi - See all my reviews This review is from: AT&T Quickfire GTX75 Cell Phone Orange (Wireless Phone Accessory) I bought this phone and loved it, until the touch screen stopped working. Loved this phone!

I bought this phone when it first came out. Which I guess was three years ago? For a touch screen this phone was very durable! I'm a horse rider so I useually go through phones like I do clothes. I've had horses "eat" my phone before. Anyways, I dopped my phone to many times to count on concrete,in mud among other things, the screen never cracked unlike the Iphone and other touch screens. People say it's a crappy phone, though I do not agree. I don't think its the phones I honestly think it's just At&t. I will definitly be buying this phone again! 5/5 onyx_cross - See all my reviews This review is from: AT&T Quickfire GTX75 Cell Phone Orange (Wireless Phone Accessory) I bought this phone when it first came out. This phone worked ok when i first got it, but after a couple of weeks the touch screen would feeze up when i was texting and i had to reset it ever time it did that. Also when i go some where i keep my phone in my back pocket but every time i would put it there it would turn of and i would have to take the battery out to get it to come back on. Great little phone

I bought this phone for my 15 yr old daughter and it arrived today. I messed around with it for about 2 hours, going through all the settings and features. It seems durable and is a cute little phone, especially for a teen girl.. it is accented with lavender/pink afterall.Call quality is great so far and all features work as expected. When closed, it is a somewhat smaller phone than I am used to. It is a little shorter, but a tad wider. I didn't find this to be a downfall though - just pointing it out. (My current phone is a Nokia E71x). At first I thought it would be awkward when talking since it is smaller, but it isn't at all.The screen is a nice size and is vibrant and clear. It seems like the screen is made of glass, although I didn't look it up to see for sure. The screen on the Pantech is bigger than the screen on my Nokia. The touchscreen is very responsive and quick. I did find though that it doesn't acknowledge the... 5/5 MyPenName (Pennsylvania) - See all my reviews, July 27, 2011

    Nice little phone!

I have had the Pursuit II for alittle over 24 hours now. I have to say that I am quite pleased with the phone. When I unpacked it I did notice however, that there is no user manual enclosed. Only the quick start guide and me being the electronic nerd that I am, I like to read the manual to make sure I'm not missing any cool little programs or quirks the phone might have. However, the Pantech website now has a downloadable user manual there and I printed it off to have :)When I finally got it charged and activated, I was pleasantly surprised at the actual size of the screen! It is quite large for such a small phone. The color quality of it is also very vibrant.I really like how responsive the touchscreen is. However, I thought I could use a stylus, but it won't read the touch of the stylus. But that's ok, just thought I would mention it.I've made a couple calls with it so far and the sound quality is good. No static or dropped calls either... 5/5 Heather H - See all my reviews This review is from: Pantech Pursuit II Phone, Pink (AT&T) (Wireless Phone) I have had the Pursuit II for alittle over 24 hours now. Great phone

I really love this phone. I have had it for a few weeks and I couldn't be happier. I don't need a data plan and AT&T requires them with most phones. This limited my options greatly. I had a Samsung Strive before this and it was alright, but I use the calender all the time and it was terribly annoying. This phone is small, cute, and the calender is wonderful. It comes with a few nice little apps. I wasn't sure about the touchscreen but it has worked well too. There have been a few times that the touchscreen response has hesitated a little, but it picks right back up. There are a lot of ways to organize things and access them. Haven't had any issues with it. Just sad I scratched it already. 5/5 Curtisbk (Richmond, Va USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Pantech Pursuit II Phone, Pink (AT&T) (Wireless Phone) I really love this phone. Infuse vs Captivate

I've never had a phone or PDA where I didn't have to sacrifice a lot to get something else. Not with this one. I am a Google addict. I use Google Docs, Tasks, Contacts, GMail, Calendar, etc. So of course this phone works perfectly with all of that and syncs well with my Galaxy Tab, Windows 7 PC and MacBook Air.Before this I had a Captivate running Froyo and wasn't sure if switching would be worth the cost, as I mainly have just wanted a bigger screen. I don't know why iPhone does so well at only 3.5". You can't read text on something that small. I could barely stand 4" Captivate. 4.5" seems to be the sweet spot. Especially since the phone is so thin and light. Perfect width for telephone conversation and surfing, typing. The biggest surprise though is the battery life. I have never had a smartphone last a whole day and I do not talk much on them or play media. Just surfing, texting and updating calendar, tasks, etc usually drains the battery. On my Captivate I... 5/5 Todd Stevens (North Carolina) - See all my reviews, May 19, 2011

    This Phone Is Snappy!

You are going to hear a lot of opinions on how this phone isn't dual core, isn't the Galaxy S II, too big, blah blah blah. Unless you simply must have the "next generation" phone this fall, if you are looking for the BEST AT&T Android phone, the Samsung Infuse is it.On paper, I didn't upgrade by much...I already had the pretty good Samsung Captivate. But after a few minutes with the Infuse, I could already tell this was a great phone. The performance is so snappy and quick. I don't have official benchmarks but for instance, I am a heavy Google Reader user. On the Captivate, when I would choose "Mark All Previous Read", it would take, on average, 10 seconds. Now, it is about 1 second. This is on both Wi-Fi and "4G". App loading and closing is also much faster. I did have my home menu in a long "spinning symbol" after running some apps and I even rebooted but it has since not returned. The screen is absolutely beautiful. Bight, big and sharp. The screen size was... 5/5 Brian A. Wolters (Cabot, Arkansas) - See all my reviews, May 16, 2011

Arguably the best. Far better than iphone

I used the iphone 2G, 3GS and iphone 4. Of course the last one had major issues with the dropped reception. I have been looking for an andriod phone to get me off Apple and iphone, but NO ONE could match the touch feeling of the iphone. Blackberry touch, you have to tap several times, even Motorola Atrix the response was not great and I returned it. Besides that in the Atrix email program, I could not see Html mail well. Then I heard that Samsung makes the screen that iphone uses and I had heard good feedback on the Galaxy series, that their touch was super. I decided to go with a Samsung product.Outstanding. Impressive. Forget Iphone.Touch: the response is super, even better than the iphone. Yes even better.HTML Email: Excellent, reads it very well.Speed: Excellent processes requests very fastbattery: Wow! for the smartphones these days that barely last a day, I have gone 3 days so far and not needed a charge. Great Phone

I've had this phone for almost a year now and other than the occasional dropped call (probably service, not phone), I love it! No, it's not a smartphone, but it does exactly what I need it to do. I'm always using mine to send pictures to Facebook and I have to say that it takes some pretty good pics. It may not be the best phone for someone with big hands as the keys are pretty small and take some getting used to. All in all I would recommend it. 5/5 MissouriGirl - See all my reviews This review is from: Samsung A187 Unlocked Phone with QWERTY Keyboard, 1.3 MP Camera, Music Player and Speakerphone - Unlocked Phone - US Warranty - Blue (Wireless Phone Accessory) I've had this phone for almost a year now and other than the occasional dropped call (probably service, not phone), I love it! Great phone

My blackberry ate the dust so I decided to buy this phone because I did not have an upgrade available. I really like the features and the price is second to none. The weakest part of this phone is the camera and the lack of video camera. The internet is sufficient for my needs. Call quality is very good and there is an external memory slot which is really handy. I would recommend get a silicone skin, amazon has good deals on them. For anyone who needs an att phone and doesn't have an upgrade the a187 is a great choice, highly recommended. 5/5 T. Excellent, Excellent Phone

I love this phone, I have had it a month or so now, it gives me reception in alot of areas that my daughters blackberry will not hardly pick up on. Works great with bluetooth, has a lock on the keypad to keep mishaps from happening if I drop it in my handbag. I may order another before to long, when there is a great phone it seems like they don't stay around long. The battery life is excellent. I charge mine once every three to four days. I am a medium user, talk some, text some, so the phone is far better than what I had before. Battery life was my first concern, did not want to have to recharge everyday, with this one I do not, the speaker works well without problems, the sound quality is very good, volume is easy to up or down (button on the side) if you want camera quality then this phone does not take pics like the iphone, but its decent, if your more concerned about getting reception and good connection then this phone is for you. 5/5 Bluegrass2harmony - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) I got this phone in green color last week for my wife. I got it for no charge.Pros:=====1. Capacitive touch screen. Earlier version has resistive which not good enough.2. Voice quality is good.3. Recording a conversation is very simple.4. Easy to do text messaging. Vertical keyboard out is easy use while adding phone entries.Cons:=====1. There is a way to customize home screen, it's not well designed.2. Photo tagging of caller only available for contacts in phone not in SIM.3. Touch screen could have been better. 4/5 V. Great Hardware; So so software

Mine came in Saturday the 18th so only one day later than promised. I'm OK with that. Spent the day playing around with it. I lead an enterprise mobility team and lab for a Fortune 500 company and have access to a lot of the bleeding edge technology coming from vendors these days (except Apple who doesn't share much).I have to say this thing is excellent. It is big. It fits in one hand for me but being a musician I'm used to stretching my fingers and such so it was no biggie for me. I could see how someone with smaller hands might have trouble using it one handed. Even with my finger stretch I was worried about holding it just in one hand.I live in an area where AT&T is just now rolling LTE and it isn't anywhere near me but I was getting close to 8Mb down and 1.5 Mb up yesterday in a few areas. The notification bar showed 4G but not 4GLTE so I'm assuming it is HSPA+. (???)GPS is fantastic. Works like a charm. No problems with Wi-Fi at all and getting great... 4/5 Vince Arter Jr. (St. Louis, MO, USA) - See all my reviews, February 19, 2012

It's pretty in white, beautiful screen and awesome battery

DesignIt's a big phone for but if there's one thing you should be aware of, it's the back. The back can be slippery, I don't recommend letting people who aren't careful hold it or pick it up. My phone has already been dropped, on the back from a short distance to the ground. The actual design of the phone is in my opinion is A+. The phone is pretty slim for such a big battery and screen size. The only physical button, the Power button is located on the right side. It's pretty much a giant Samsung Skyrocket with a stylus. It feels great in my hand(s) and I have normal sized hands. My personal preference for color is white.PerformanceI played with it for a few hours and screen is pretty responsive. I watched a netflix movies and 1080p films over wifi, which were beautiful. The processor seems to move just as fast the one in the skyrocket. There's no lag and handles everything well. South Florida should get 4g next month but HspA+ is enough... 5/5 R. Parker (Florida) - See all my reviews, February 26, 2012

I am a gadget geek and love to try new electronics. I have been using an iPhone since the 3GS came out, and no matter what phone I tried, I always went back within a few days- Backflip, Tilt, Blackberry Bold, HTC Inspire to name a few.I ordered the Note from Amazon Wireless, as it was cheaper than AT&T. I haven't played with it as much as I'd like to (not a good idea to order a groovy new phone in the middle of finals), but am so far beyond impressed with it. I haven't even missed my iPhone.Texting and emailing is much easier due to the size of the screen, and it only took a couple of days to get used to the larger size. The speaker doesn't seem quite up to par with the iPhone, but is far superior to the Inspire. The screen is just plain beautiful, and the touch interface is outstanding. Setting it up with my ringtones, pictures and whatnot was a breeze, and the battery life has been great- two days between charges. The internet is lightning fast and blows the... Great low cost smart phone

I purchased 2 of these phones for my college aged children. At college and home the students have full WiFi coverage so they don't need a data plan ($0). Using Google voice and WiFi they have full smartphone functionality with no monthly bill, and the kids love the phone. Almost all Android software will run except some of the really high power games that require a dual processor. Purchase a $100 go phone card and you basically get a smart phone for about $20 a month. (including the purchase price and the 1 year service plan) The battery seems to last for days even though the kids are using the phone ALL THE TIME. Only time will tell if the phone will hold up, but at this price the phone only has to last 3 months before we break even versus a traditional plan. I might buy a 3rd for me. 5/5 Rich (Rochester NY) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) A long trip

I bought this phone as a personal phone. I have a work cellphone through AT&T, but it's very basic. I wouldn't say I use my personal phone for much more than texts and the occasional call. I originally went with Straight Talk since I didn't want to pay a lot for monthly service. While with them for a year, I had 4 different phones. Only one was a touchscreen and it had made me wonder if touchscreen phones are just not made for me. This past December, I decided it was time to get a new phone. I tried one of Straight Talk's Androids, but even though Sprint is listed as having excellent coverage at my home address, I could not get any reception inside and only 1 bar outside. A Sprint rep told me to try their prepaid services instead of Straight Talk's. I tried an HTC on Virgin Mobile and had no reception. I returned it and tried a Motorola on Boost Mobile, no reception. I should add that the area I live in has very good - excellent coverage on all the major networks, including full... 5/5 Evan "Evan" - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) An impressive phone for the price and no contract

Pros: 3.5 inch screen is nice (compared to the Thrive's 3.2 inch)5 mega pixel camera takes good pictures.Screen is bright and responsive/ does not look or feel cheapCompatible with most appsGingerbread 2.3.4 runs flawlesslyCall quality is good, speaker isCons: Does Not support Adobe Flash.CPU run at 600MHz (This has not been disclosed anywhere I looked online.)Case feels a little cheapNo flash for the cameraLags when loading big appsBattery life is about 5 hours with heavy use (apps and text/talk)Summary: I had been using the LG Prime since June of 2010 and wanted to upgrade without a contract. I considered an Lg Thrive but didn't like the price point or weight of the phone. Saw this in the AT&T store. I liked the feel of it and the size of the screen. I have had it for about three weeks now and have no complaints. I think this is a good prepaid android phone and a steal at $149. 4/5 Dennis Hibbins - See all my reviews This review is from: AT&T Avail Prepaid Android GoPhone (AT&T) (Wireless Phone Accessory) Pros: 3.5 inch screen is nice (compared to the Thrive's 3.2 inch)5 mega pixel camera takes good pictures.Screen is bright and responsive/ does not look or feel cheapCompatible with most appsGingerbread 2.3.4 runs flawlesslyCall quality is good, speaker isCons: Does Not support Adobe Flash.CPU run at 600MHz (This has not been disclosed anywhere I looked online.)Case feels a little cheapNo flash for the cameraLags when loading big appsBattery life is about 5 hours with heavy use (apps and text/talk)Summary: I had been using the LG Prime since June of 2010 and wanted to upgrade without a contract. Can't believe this phone passed quality testing

First, some background - I'm a software developer that has been writing code that either runs on mobile phones or consumer electronic devices that talk to phones, since the late 1990's. I bought this phone for my 14 year old (previous phone - a bullet-proof Samsung BlackJack II of nearly 4 years). The build quality is excellent, well above par for the class. This ain't a Pantech this or Samsung that. Nice aluminum, excellent screen, resolution, size, battery life, the works. The only hardware glitch is the micro USB port needs some care when plugging in, and the battery compartment is a bit too creative. Nothing bad there, just a bit strange. The hardware feels solid. The software is for the birds. Not to offend my former collaborators at Qualcommm, but it really is for the birds.- The HTC Sync does not work. Installed on two Windows 7 machines, in one it does not recognize that a phone is connected, in the other it recognized it briefly then... 1/5 turbo_95 - See all my reviews This review is from: HTC Freestyle Phone (AT&T) (Wireless Phone) First, some background - I'm a software developer that has been writing code that either runs on mobile phones or consumer electronic devices that talk to phones, since the late 1990's. Great as design, but the WORST quality as a phone

I have ordered this phone for two weeks, and at the beginning I was so excited to find a touch screen phone with HTC sense UI, an android-like system (BrewMP OS), a phone without data plan required, and from great HTC. I am tired with iPhone, and have a tablet with Android, so maybe this is the time for me to give a try on a new system. But I am wrong. I only saw the first few reviews which gave me a great favor, but didn't notice the recent ones since May, who has similar experience with me.Pros:1. Great UI design, as HTC sense.2. No data plan required. You can switch on/off $15 unlimited data at any time.3. It is a 3G phone! It can work with ATT MicroCell to boost your signal.Cons:1. Freeze, freeze, freeze! It randomly freezes at any time, without touching anything on it!2. Crash, crash, crash! It can suddenly pops up a message like "Oops, system is rebooting..." The language can be either English or others, randomly!3... 1/5 Kun Zhang - See all my reviews, June 8, 2011

Love this phone and no data plan required!

I have been wanting a quality touch screen phone for a while but could not find one I liked that was not a smartphone. This one fits the bill. In 3 days I have already personalized it and more. The call quality is great and quite loud. The ringer volume is quite loud also. The vibration is strong. The phone feels like a quality phone in your hand. My husband likes my phone so much he is considering one for himself. 5/5 kirteen (Round Rock, TX) - See all my reviews This review is from: HTC Freestyle Phone (AT&T) (Wireless Phone) I have been wanting a quality touch screen phone for a while but could not find one I liked that was not a smartphone. Fast. Complicated. Eats megabytes for breakfast.

I've checked out what other reviewers have had to say about this phone, and find myself in agreement with most of them. The phone is amazing. Here's what else you need to know:a) data planb) appsc) user manualData Plan: you will need a separate data plan for the phone. My wife has an iPhone 3G, with an unlimited data plan from AT&T. But that phone doesn't use the 4G LTE network. AT&T is slowing building out its 4G LTE network, and it may not be available in your area. You have to buy a plan whether or not you currently have 4G LTE coverage. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that 4G LTE was available in my area, even though the official AT&T coverage map didn't include it.I bought a 200 megabyte per month plan. It seemed like a lot of bytes. Then I started using my phone. Trulia has a great app that lets you find the houses for sale in whatever neighborhood you find yourself in. You can see the entire listing, just... 4/5 Robert Felice (Silicon Valley Boy) - See all my reviews, January 9, 2012

    Great Phone

This is a great phone, I have owned it for 3 days now and i really like it. The build quality is great, even though it is plastic. The phone itself looks beautiful and feels great, the weight is also good it doesn't feel to light or to heavy. The screen is one of the best ive seen on any phone. Everything cant be perfect though.I am not in a lte market so i cant comment on that aspect. As far as the phone goes you do have to keep a couple of things in mind. The phone has a 4.5 inch screen, although this sounds great it has some obvious draw backs. With the screen being so big one of the draw backs is size. It is not a comfortable phone to carry around and putting it in you're pocket as well as pulling it out can be awkward. I wear slim jeans and this has become an annoyance. When you talk on it you notice the size, it feels like holding a scientific calculator to you're ear.The second draw back is once again the screen size. This being 4.5 inches it takes up... 4/5 Eliseo Roman (Hawthorne, Ca) - See all my reviews, November 11, 2011

    Review for Samsung Skyrocket

I will start with the bad things first:Price: I initially bought it from Amazon wireless and they said it won't be delivered until December, so I canceled my order and went with ATT premier store and paid full price on the phone. It is like 70 dollars more.Battery: I took it off the charger at 9am today, right now it is almost 2pm and I am at 63%, I did used Google Navigation (while charging in the car). And mostly light browsing, power saving mode seems to help a lot, with 60 percent it can last me till the end of the day with almost 5% left. (Tested that yesterday) So battery life is not great but given it is an LTE phone with 4.5 inch screen, I would say this is 50/50.Accessories: Lack of accessories for now, you might want to get a good case for this considering it is a very delicate and expensive phone, you don't want to test the durability yourself. And no HD screen. & ATT customer service, ATT wouldn't give me the unlock code even... 4/5 Tech Gadget geek "gadget testing geek" (Chicago, IL USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket 4G Android Phone, Black (AT&T) (Wireless Phone) I will start with the bad things first:Price: I initially bought it from Amazon wireless and they said it won't be delivered until December, so I canceled my order and went with ATT premier store and paid full price on the phone.
