  Apparently sold a used iPhone... not NEW

  Problem:This phone was sold as NEW and unlocked and we received it promptly after the Sept. 13th order fulfillment.On Oct 24th, the Phone failed completely. It would not re-start with soft and hard reset. It continued to be locked up completely with unresponsive touch on a fully energized main screen (the first "unlock" display present and waiting). The unit was taken to a local Apple Store (while we were traveling, Tampa Florida) and the Apple service agent checked the Apple database to discover that the unit was out of their one year warranty period by about 2 months.This phone also exhibited minor problems in use: Screen colors were tinted slightly orange; Apple locator on Google Maps had trouble locating the unit. We were willing to "pass" on these performance issues, but not now with a "dead" locked phone. When we took this phone to the Apple store, the technician also noted that the red water damage indicator had gone off.   not the best

  I had two issues after receiving the iphone, one the center or home button was hard to push, after only one day of use - the screen displayed the itunes logo and a usb cable, i tried turning on/off several times and tried reloading thru itunes-failed due to iphone being unlock, this according to vendor i purchased the phone from. The vendor seemd kind and concerned about addressing my two issues, so I sent back the iphone for him to fix at my own expense, he reloaded software and stated in a letter I got with the repaired phone to NEVER update your iphone on itunes, and as far as the center button or home key, the vendor stated it seems to be ok, thus, no it was not fixed, so after spending several hundred dollars for this used iphone that was advertised as in great shape,was in my opinion not, buyer beware- software is one big issue with unlocked phones and performance or buttons are another, I used the iphone for another week and got a pineapple on the screen, so long story... 2/5 T.   First, if you are trying to decide between iPhone 4 and 4S based on price, go ahead and get the 4. I have no desire to use Siri. My iPhone does everything that I need it to do and really Siri is the only difference between the two phones. If you buy an iPhone 4, it will have the new operating system. I have not upgraded to it yet.I've had my iPhone 4 for almost a year now and I purchased mine directly from AT&T. I have had a great experience with my phone. Before I switched to iPhone, I was a dedicated BlackBerry user. I have owned 4 BBs and I was really anti-Apple. I finally got tired of the lack of apps on BlackBerry and the outdated email interface and decided to switch. When I went to the store, the girl initially talked me into a Windows smartphone. That phone started freezing up on the very first day that I purchased it and some of the apps were unresponsive.   I've ordered the iphone on-line and shipped it to a friend address as live outside the US.The phone was received within six days after purchase. Everything looked OK or Just as described by the vendor.Unfortunately or perhaps hopefully my friend checked the iphone and found that it is updated to the latest base-band!! means it cannot be unlocked and consequently would only work with AT&T... It was only two days after it has been received, so we had time to return it and get reimbursed.   I purchased my Ipod Touch 8G in January, 2011 just for fun and to see what all the fuss was about. I use a laptop and have wireless connectivity in my home. But I don't store music on an Ipod and don't have "smart" cell phone. After using the Ipod Touch for a few months, all I can say is "WOW".This device is like carrying a small computer in your pocket. I can connect to the internet wirelessly at home and anywhere I can find a public connection--library, cafe, etc. I check my email (read and compose), facebook, Meetups, Ravelry, take pictures and movies, and with the Skype App, can video call my kids. I have become hooked on the Angry Birds game, which is fun to do while waiting anywhere. I have also downloaded audio books from my library to take with me when I travel. I knit and have any pattern I am working on loaded on my Touch so I don't worry about losing it.   I ordered this iphone 3Gs 8gb which was supposed to be unlocked and jailbroken and it was! I was happy especially after being so skeptic from the other buyer reviews, I was happy to know that I actually got what I ordered. My seller was Ibuy NWA and they gave me the exact product that they described, it wasn't scratched up or cracked, it looked practically brand new to me. I am using it with my t-mobile sim card that I had previously used with my android unlocked phone, and it is working just perfectly!   Recovery mode out of the box

  I bought the phone from abe-123 vendor. I bought this for the wife because she loved her last iPhone. The delivery was fast, a lot faster then I expected. The only problem is that when she got it, it was stuck in recovery mode right out of the box, and nothing she did would get it unstuck. She went to the AT&T store and they couldn't do anything about it either. Now she has to send it back to Apple, which thank goodness it is still covered under warranty. So Apple is sending a replacement phone for her.I understand I might have gotten one faulty phone out of several, but that is why I gave it a 3 out of 5, because I have to get a replacement phone for the one I just bought and didn't get to use once. That seemed high, so I checked to see if there was a better price on Amazon; I found these and ordered them. They are exactly the same earbuds that come with the iPhone for 1/3 the cost. In fact, I later found my lost ones and they are now mixed up--I can't tell the difference between the original ones and the replacement ones, in form or in function.   When we ordered this phone, it was for my daughter who was moving overseas, we needed one that was unlocked as it is easier and cheaper to use the overseas phone service. The phone was advertised as being unlocked....my daughter had to pay 30 euros to have it unlocked when she got to Europe. Lack of clarity of the product itself due to misliding information: on the amazon page it was presented as iPhone 3GS and in reality it was iPhone 3G.2.   iOS updates stop at 4.1.2 and the SSL isn't secure nor will it be patched by Apple. That means that any connection made over wifi to a secure website (banks, paypal, email, etc) can be intercepted with a simple tool.   I compared the cable I received with my original iPhone 4 and 3 cables. I cannot tell any differences other than a slightly different feel of the rubber/plastic material along the cable length, which by the way also differs between my genuine Apple iphone 4 and 3 cables.   Not an "Apple" cable but VERY LITTLE DIFFERENCE! (see my pics for full visual comparison made 4/1/11)

  I browsed Amazon for weeks teetering between about 3 different sellers for my replacement dock cables for charging/syncing my iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and 160Gig iPod Classic. I found these cables to be the least expensive of the ones with predominately "good" reviews. There were a few people who said they got the "real thing" when they ordered the cables as "OEM Apple cables", a few people who said the cables were good but not "OEM Apple" quality, and finally there were a few who said to "stay away from these cables" because they tore up easily. I figured I'd chance it and order them. I am VERY PLEASED that I did. I ordered the cables 3/29/11 and was given a forecasted delivery date of 4/4 to 4/7/11. I received the cables today (4/1/11).   bad phone problems from start

  The phone had a broken charger ever since i bought it. The volume on the phone goes to extremes (its usually way to low where i cant hear other people but it sometimes gets to high wear it actually hurts my ears). I would not recommend buying this phone to anyone.   They ship it really fast and I got it on time as promised. The phone works great and I didn't realize that it was not unlocked.It may be my mistake but I could not find any where in the description it was mentioned that the charger and headphone is not included.   not happy

  I didnt recieve the first phone he sent, and he sent another one out. It finally got here 2 days before Christmas, and then NOT EVEN a month after I got it the phone died and cant be fixed. I think I should at least get a partial refund. I spend my hard earned money to buy an expensive gift for my son and now NOTHING.   Definitely Not OEM Apple Headphones

  These are definitely not OEM Apple headphones. All the reviews claiming that these headphones are indistinguishable from the original headphones that came with their iphone must not be looking very hard. These headphones are don't use whatever anti-tangle tech that the original iphone headphones use. The wire on my original headphones feels rubbery, responsive, and soft, the wire on these headphones feels plastic-y and flat and is prone to tangle. The actual earbuds are different too. You can see through the grill into the hardware beneath which I can't do with my original headphones.They didn't come with any Apple manual either. So don't believe that lie.On the positive side, the mic does work as advertised and the sound quality isn't too bad. For the reduced price they're decent enough.   Don't buy these. You think you're buying what the product image is "The real Apple headphone/mic" - but you get some knock-off version that has the mic about 1' away from your face.
