    Just perfect for the job

I bought this micro sd for my lg enV2 phone, and it works great. The adapter is very handy for transferring pictures and music from phone to computer without having to buy a special cable. 5/5 Anna Ward (California) - See all my reviews, November 28, 2008

    Excellent product.

This 8 GB micro SD card is excellent. Not much else you can say. I paid for the item, it shipped and I got it. It works on my Sansa Fuze 8 GB MP3 Player and now I have 16 GB total. It comes with a standard SD-Card adapter so you can plug it into a camera or laptop, etc.The price was right but the shipping was insane to Canada for an item that weighs less than 1 lb with packing material . That is my only complaint and that is on the side of the seller.Thank you! 4/5 Andrew Martin (Paradox, Canada) - See all my reviews, August 11, 2008

Works great on BB 8320 and is cheap

At first it didn't work in my Blackberry 8320 but after a little research I realized that I just needed to update the software to the newer version which supports cards up to 32Gb.I wanted the card to hold music and photo's and it has done a prefect job. There's not much to say about micro SD cards but this one is a great price and even comes with an SD card adapter. The shipping was fast too. The "DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM" review is inacurate

The key to this review is:"I then formatted the memory card just as I do to all new memory cards, and the memory went down to 3.6 GBs."The poster must have reformatted the card to FAT16 from the factory format of FAT32. FAT16 only supports a maximum of 4GB, which is why the card seems to have lost half of its capacity. If the reviewer had left the formatting alone, or reformatted as FAT32, he/she would still have the approximately 8GB of capacity. 5/5 SFBayAreaDIY "Carl" (Concord, CA USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) 8gb Sandisk MicroSDHC memory card

The card worked perfectly with my Australian Nokia N95, flashed with the latest Nokia firmware at the time (something to the effect of 20.0.0.15). Did not have to do anything special, just plugged it in, checked the memory and sure enough, there it was at the correct size. The included USB adapter is really handy, allowing the card to be plugged straight into a USB port without the need for MicroSD to SD adapter followed by an SD to USB or card reader. So it is also useful as a USB key. 5/5 Luke Cassar (Sydney, NSW, Australia) - See all my reviews, January 6, 2008

    Works for BlackBerry 8310

I didn't see any reviews for this product, so I wanted to let you know that the 8GB (7.4GB usable) works on my BlackBerry 8310.Interestingly, although the BB showed 8GB with the new card, I only saw 4GB (3.2 or 3.4GB usable) when I first connected to my laptop and the computer asked to format the card when I enabled Mass Storage Mode (I used this mode to drag and drop into the BB). I could only see 4GB on my work computer as well. However, after standalone reformatting the card (to FAT32) on my friends Compaq both of my computers (and phone) now properly see it as an 8GB card. My computer and phone information is below.laptop: Win XP Pro w/ 4.2.2.12 BB Desktop Managerwork computer: BB desktop manager 4.6.0.12 with win2k prophone: curve 8310 with firmware: v4.2.2.170 and AT&T as providerI'm looking forward to using the expanded storage! 5/5 M. Fake!!!!!!!!!

I received this card, order fulfilled by Amazon, it worked once and then stopped. So I called Kingston, after reading them the number printed on the card Kingston informed me that it was fake.I contacted Amazon and they told me that they would give me a refund. I told them that this is not enough, because other people are receiving counterfeit merchandise.Raj, my customer service rep tells me he'll report it and they'll stop selling it. After he told me he'd send me another one...What another fake one?So if you order this, I would suggest verifying with kingston that it is genuine product before use. 1/5 Eric W. Unforunately, many flash memory cards are fakes

Yes folks, unless you are absolutely sure about the vendor's reputation, I would say that most of the flash memory cards sold on line are fakes. This really is a huge problem since most of the buyers are unaware of this. So, what exactly is a fake? These are usually inferior graded flash memory that has been used to "upgrade" to an apparent higher capacity card with a name brand manufacturer's sticker on it. This type of counterfeiting is no different than selling bogus Rolex watches at greatly discounted prices. But the bigger and more insidious problem with bogus flash cards is that the customer is not aware of it, unlike the phony Rolex's where the buyer usually knows that they are knockoffs. The card may fail right away, or as more typically happens, they will work for a while and then fail...leaving the owner not a clue as to what went wrong. I purchased a Kingston flash card before our trip to Asia. Everything was going fine until we had snapped just over 100 photos. Excellent choice for my Blackberry Curve

I tested the possibility of using my as my primary mp3 player with an inexpensive Kingston 2GB microSD card. I ran into several issues in the process, but learned how to overcome them. The Curve limits the file size transfers when they are sent to the phone's storage. This protects the phone from running out of memory. The trick is ensuring you are transferring files to the card instead. If you map drives on your computer, the first available drive is automatically used for the Curve's memory card. At home this is my F drive while at work it is K. If any other device is mapped to that drive, the Curve's memory card will not be recognized.Additionally, there are settings that may need to be changed to allow music file transfers. Go to "Settings", then "Options" to click on "Media Card." Set... 5/5 L. T. Beasimer "www.LBphoto.net" (Dallas, TX) - See all my reviews, July 13, 2008

    Small Card, Huge Storage Capacity!

When I received this amazingly small 8 GB Micro SDHC card, I could not believe it! It is so tiny! I am using it for my 8 GB Sansa Fuze to extend the capacity to 16 GB and it works great. I put all of my videos on it and there is no trouble at all. When I plug my Sansa Fuze in with the Micro SDHC in it, it shows up as the external memory. You can choose if you want your items on the internal memory or the external memory. I advise you if you have a regular Micro SD card slot not a Micro SDHC slot, this card will not work! If you have a regular Micro SD slot, you can only put in a 2 GB card or less. With a Micro SDHC slot, you can put in any regular or HC Micro SD card. Overall, this card works excellent to expand memory in any Micro SDHC compatible device. 5/5 Kalves (Massachusetts) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) BEWARE of BULK PACKAGING ITEMS

Due to my satisfaction with the 4GB Micro SDHC from Sandisk, I decided to upgrade to an 8GB version. The 4GB I bought at my local BestBuy, but this time I wanted to save a few dollars, so I ordered from Amazon, in particular the seller "Digital Media Source."Once I received the product, I noticed that it was in what is called "Bulk Packaging," (just the card inside a plastic case with no sealed manufacturer packaging)not RETAIL packaging as the item description suggested.Either way, I figured I'd use it. I copied roughly 7GB's worth of music and video over to it. I then inserted the card into my HTC phone. After two days, the card was corrupted. Corrupted in the sense that I had to reformat it. The VERY NEXT day, the same thing happened! Two days after the second corruption, it happened again. I had not experienced this with my 4GB that I bought retail at BestBuy, EVER - It has not corrupted on me to this day.So I decided to contact Sandisk for... 1/5 Diego (New York) - See all my reviews, May 22, 2009

A picture is not worth a thousand words.

I bought 8 units of those and although the product works perfectly, I have two concerns. The first one is that the picture shows an 8GB CLASS 4 chip, while the product I received was a CLASS 2. The trick here is that the description text or the part number does not show that difference at all. Is that on purpose or just just a coincidence?Second and not least important is that the shipping charges/policies needs to be reviewed. It is not right to charge about US$7 to ship one unit, while if you need 5 units you have to pay 35$ for shipping. 3/5 Georges Laham (Cairo, EGYPT) - See all my reviews This review is from: SanDisk 8GB MicroSDHC Card (SDSDQ 008G A11M) (Personal Computers) I bought 8 units of those and although the product works perfectly, I have two concerns. The first one is that the picture shows an 8GB CLASS 4 chip, while the product I received was a CLASS 2. Works as advertised in BB Curve and Pearl smartphones

Have used this card in the Curve 8830 from Verizon, the Pearl 8130 from Verizon, and the Pearl 8100C from AT&T. The Verizon phones were running stock firmware version 4.3. The AT&T 8100C was upgraded to the new 4.5 release and I cannot confirm that 8GB would be supported in the older 4.2 release. In all cases, it worked perfectly and is great to have so much storage available. Maximum storage, minimum hasle

Though I wish I had waited a couple of weeks to buy this card (the price dropped 30 dollars in the past two weeks), I have nothing but good things to say about the card. Easy to load, easy to read. I managed to put about 11 gigs on here in the first three days (lots of music) and the access has been flawless. Word of caution, be careful with the card reader. My first attempt led to a corrupted card which I had to return. May have been a manufacturing defect (bought from best buy, not from Amazon. Best buy charged 99.00). I reccomend loading the card in the device before adding data rather than using the reader and then inserting loaded card. All in all, a miracle of storage on a tiny card. I eagerly await the 32 gb in a year or two. 5/5 Ira B. Steinberg - See all my reviews, November 11, 2008

    Exactly what it says

Great card, works great, is exactly what it says, and comes with SanDisk's standard warranty. A couple things to remember, 16 "gigabytes" in manufacturer terms equates to about 14.9 true formatted gigabytes (because a kilo for a computer is 1024). Also the MicroSDHC standard is the same card and interface as the old MicroSD; the difference is in the compression method. This means that many smartphones that didn't support SDHC when they were made can support it if the software is upgraded. An example of this is any Windows Mobile phone that has been upgraded to WinMo 6.1; 6.1 supports SDHC. 5/5 Joshua J. Susmarski (Broomfield, CO USA) - See all my reviews, November 30, 2008

    Wicked Fast MicroSDHC Card!

I specifically ordered this memory card for my Blackberry Curve 8330 with two goals in mind.1: Store videos and music on my phone2: Expanded memory for applications and documentsOn both counts I have not been let down! This card is wicked fast when it comes to file transfers via the Blackberry software. I had expected, indeed planned, for a bit of a "hit" when using the RIM software to expedite file transfers (play lists, music, and videos) but if there is one I am not seeing it.The included adapter is a handy add on bonus as I do have quite a few microSD cards lying around and can now use those for other devices that accept SD cards.Oh, and it IS a Class 6 card. 5/5 M. Noticeable Difference Between Class 4 and Class 6

I purchased this 8GB - Class 6, upgrading from an 8GB - Class 4, because I needed the faster read/write speeds on my cell phone. After installing it, I immediately noticed a faster response in the data transfer speeds. My ringtones, music, and pictures loaded faster, even when receiving a call.I recommend upgrading to the Class 6 to anyone wanting/needing fast transfer rates. The data transfer rates of SD Cards are:(Read Speed of a Standard CD-ROM = 150 kb/s)Class 2 - (Equivalent to ~13x the read speed of a Standard CD-ROM) - 2 MB/sClass 4 - (Equivalent to ~26x the read speed of a Standard CD-ROM) - 4 MB/sClass 6 - (Equivalent to ~40x the read speed of a Standard CD-ROM) - 6 MB/sSo, as you can see, the Class 6 is approximately 50% faster than a Class 4. 5/5 David "mdavidf" (Salem, OR) - See all my reviews This review is from: Transcend 8 GB microSDHC Flash Memory Card TS8GUSDHC6 (Personal Computers) I purchased this 8GB - Class 6, upgrading from an 8GB - Class 4, because I needed the faster read/write speeds on my cell phone. After installing it, I immediately noticed a faster response in the data transfer speeds. AmazonBasics 16 GB microSDHC Class 10 Flash Memory Card with SD Adapter

Good price, good value and all dressed out in BASIC Amazon black and white. Oh, just makes you want to do a victory dance. Works as advertised at Class 10 speed and passed H2testw v1.4 and Flash Drive/Card Tester v1.14 testing for data integrity. As with all data storage devices, this card has less storage space then advertised, at 15.278.99GB. And yes, it most likely is made in Asia, across the big pond, as most all flash memory is.Media: Amazon 16GB MicroSDHC Class 10Date: 09.23.2011Actual storage space: 15.278.99GBTest 1: H2testw v1.4 Created by Harald BögeholzWarning: Only 15270 of 15271 MByte tested.Test finished without errors. You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them... 5/5 James Woodruff (USA) - See all my reviews, October 15, 2011

This Sandisk 'class-4' micro-SDHC card is faster than a PNY 'class-10'

I purchased a nearly two months ago, for use in my . At the same time, I also purchased a higher-priced which is supposed to be a 'class-10'. My benchmark results, however, show that the Sandisk class-4 card is actually faster - most of the time.I used two sets of benchmark programs. One is called 'Flash Memory Toolkit v2.0', which measures the random read/write speed of files between 1MB and 15MB. The other one is... 5/5 NLee the Engineer (Nashua, NH) - See all my reviews, December 2, 2011

No Problems, Works as Advertised, and Came With a MicroSD Card Adapter!

So I read some of the reviews about this microSD card and I wanted to chip in my experiences.I purchased mine from Amazon.com via the vendor "MemoryMogul." It arrived at my porch in a small envelope package and did not have any of the bulk packaging that one would find from a retail store. Inside this envelope was just a small plastic case holding the microSDHC card as well as a SanDisk microSD card adapter. This was surprising to me since it wasn't advertised that this microSD card would come with an adapter. I guess that's good in my case since I was going to purchase a separate adapter. The package did not come with an instruction manual, or any SanDisk packaging for that matter. [Please see the customer image I uploaded]Apart from the unexpected package and its contents, everything about the microSD card works as advertised:1. My Macbook and Dell laptops both recognized that 31.90 GB of space are available to use in my card. Some people have reported... 5/5 narfybob - See all my reviews This review is from: SanDisk microSDHC 32GB Flash Memory Card (Retail Packaging) SDSDQM-032G-B35,Black (Personal Computers) So I read some of the reviews about this microSD card and I wanted to chip in my experiences.I purchased mine from Amazon.com via the vendor "MemoryMogul." Works like it should

This is the second card I own. I have one in my HTC EVO 4G and my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus. No issues in either device. Well worth the investment for extended memory. 4/5 CountryDevil - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
