  WOW!!!

  I currently own an iphone that I keep in an otterobox. I have been searching for an aux cable for my car that would fit my iphone with its case on. Well, after trying many cheap and expensive cables, I have found the "one". This Mediabridge cable is not your usual wimpy thin cable you would find for $1 that stops working correctly after a few months, nor is it an expensive one with ends so thick it won't fit in my iphone, it is made very well and its plugs are "stepped" so it is sleek enough to fit in anything with a case on. I am very impressed, and its not easy to impress me. The cable is thick and solid, seems very sturdy and you can't beat it for the price. I am DEFINITELY going to purchase more for my home and recommend Mediabridge cables to all my friends and coworkers.   Feels like it's quality but don't be fooled

  Works just like it should

  I cant see giving this less than 5 stars and its plugs are tapered down to a diameter small enough seat fully into my I phone in the case. I highly recommend this cable. I currently own two iphones that I keep in a case (1 at a time). I searched for an aux cable with no luck until now for my car that would fit my iphone in its case. After several months of removing the case from my phone to connect it to my car sterio, I found the this one and asked for it as a gift.   This Cables Unlimited 3.5mm male to male cable is great in one aspect, namely price. While this attribute is undoubtedly great for those looking for a cheap cable, even at the price point, there are better options such as etc.The sound quality is rather poor. There is a lot of noise from the cables themselves, which is somewhat less than expected as the casing of the cable seems better than the average. I primarily used this cable to connect my iPod to my car through an auxilary jack, but also experienced the aforementioned issues when connecting to a a speaker set.I have since began using a cable bought for two dollars at a local discount store without any issues.   My car offers line-in audio which means I can play my iPod directly through my car speakers without the need of a scratch, static-filled fm tuner.   This cable would be OK for a set of headphones but you should not use it in the signal path between a source device, like an MP3 player or computer, and an amplifier.   Might be OK in fixed installation, horrible in a car

  I purchased two of these to use in my car and on the road to hook my MP3 player into a car stereo. They are of a very poor quality and make static whenever the cable is moved in any way. Cable move a lot in portable installation in moving vehicles. Thus, I'm throwing both away as they aren't useful. If you were connecting two components that didn't move at all, this might be an OK cable, but personally, I would invest in a higher quality product. 1/5 A.   Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't

  I ordered this cable on Nov. 2 and did not get it until Nov. 28. The problem was that it got lost in the mail and had to be reshipped. CrazyOnDigital did a great job dealing with the shipping problems. My problem is with the quality of the product. When you plug the cable into a port, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I think that the male part of the connector is not making contact like it should while in the port. If you wiggle the cable around and plug it in about 10 times, it will start working. When it does work, it is great. When it doesn't work, it is a pain in the butt. If you accidentally bump the cable while it is plugged in, you can really mess up the sound that is coming through the cable. I say buy at your own risk. The quality of sound is great when it does work, it just a lot of trouble getting it to work. But what can you expect when you pay a penny for a cable. 3/5 A.   The shielding on this cable makes all the difference. I was using an "average" cable to hook up a mobile "home theater" set up while on vacation recently. When I connected the audio output of the Blue Ray player to a set of Logitechs mobile speakers for iPods initially, the sound was horrible with lots of static and "popping."   The price on this item was great, however when I tested it in my car with my iphone I found that it only works correctly if you do not move the cable/plugs while in use. After plugging it in, as soon as I moved my iphone to set it down the sound started to cut out. I then tried to test it by wiggling the plugs on both ends, and it appears that the plugs aren't sturdy enough to make a good connection with either device. I currently have a Dynex brand cable for my car for this purpose and it works great with no issues....when it is plugged in, no matter how much you move the cord or plugs the sound stays strong and doesn't cut out...it is much thicker and the plugs much sturdier than this cable which I believe to be the reason it works so much better.   Dont buy!!!

  I have had this now for a few weeks. The moment I took it out of the package and hooked it to my stereo i knew there was a problem. My reason for buying this was to use to connect my ipod to my stereo. At first I thought maybe a speaker was out. But no, i started to move the cord around when moving my ipod and the music was cutting in and out. Now I have to sit there and move it around until it finally works.   Night and Day (all cables are NOT equal)

  I had ordered a 6' cable from another dealer at the same price as the pictured 2' cable. My only purpose was to connect an iPod to a portable speaker. My results were immediately wildly erratic. I was able to get a semi-clear audio signal only after extremely careful manipulation of the pin in the iPod jack, followed by periods of holding my breath so as not to disrupt the connection. My first inclination was to condemn the player, but then I remembered a recent experience with the HDMI cords connected to a Sony TV. The picture went on and off whenever someone walked into the room, causing my wife and me to condemn the TV set or the Time-Warner cable box. But then I exchanged the heavy-duty, thick HDMI cable for a thinner, lightweight HDMI cable--immediately, all problems with my television set were eliminated.Exactly the same happened when I tossed the new 6' 3.5mm audio cable for the pictured 2' one. Now i can take the MP3 to my lap or armrest and then pick it up and look at it closely when i am able to make changes and not have to look down.
